In other news... Duluth gets hosed on a call in OT.

Looked for a UMD thread in D1, but apparently there is none with Biddy being the only active poster that I can think of.

They got hosed on other calls in the game, but that was a pretty clear hook.

Also, with the game being on the alternate FSN, the Minnesota vs. Bye thread turned into a score update thread for that game right at the end.:)

goaltending was pretty ****ty as was reffing. Luckily for us Kas will start tomorrow and I have more confidence in him than McNeely. We don't have a thread and I'm the only active UMD poster here. There are others but they don't post a lot.

So, when are you going to find your way to the upper Midwest? You're due.

I wanted to do NYE for the gophs tourney, but I think the costs+car have priced me out... I also don't have a lot of leave stored up.

I agree though. Would love to hang out before all of you turn gray and have kids running around.

Good Morning Lodge. So, remember when I was talking about e-sports? League of Legends is coming to ESPN this weekend.

I'm sorry for your loss(es). ;)

Good morning Lodge.

The g household is split. Two of us will be cheering for the light side of the force and the other two will be cheering for the evil empire.

I'm not sure where our tix are at but if any of you Lodgers want to meet let me know.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Heading up to St, Clooud today for Mr.'s family annual bonfire. Cannot wait to see how the Brian Dozier cutout burns.

Morning from Duluth! I love being back in town. I miss it all the time. Leaving this morning to go home for a short time, then off to Mankato for some hockey

Too late. Well, Brent might be gray if he had hair.

gmann, I'll need to figure out our schedule so Jr and I or Mrs and I can connect with you and yours. Not sure who is going which night.

Jr is at deer camp and he texted me that he didn't pack enough underwear. He needs to learn what deer camp means and that no one cares if you wear your underwear two days straight at a deer camp. It is one of the nicer deer camps he could ever experience. They have a nice fifth wheel trailer on site all hooked up, with all the comforts, even a dish.

Feels good to be home.

Camping was fun but it was cold and windy all day yesterday and this morning.

Hardy har har! I actually have a little gray in the beard if it grows out enough. Just a little salt'n'pepper. :o

For the Extras, you know the story already, but for the Lodge-onians, well, here goes:

Had a sit-down with the ex today. She has just about fully reconciled with her ex-husband (they have 3 kids), and the decision was made (I made the option available, and she accepted) that I am giving them full custody and waiving all visitation rights of Rube V.2, and she will waive all child support/etc. RV.2 will be able to meet me in the future, if he so desires, and I will be given any updates/photos/etc at any time, per my requesting them. I felt, and she obviously agreed, that this was for the best for RV.2, to keep the family whole. It's been a rough couple months, especially the last couple weeks. I've got a great network of support, and my family is behind this decision 100%.

I apologize if this is a bit heavy, however I feel I can share this with all y'all, as we've gotten to know each other over the years on a multitude of levels. It kind of goes to show how close this community really is.

Tough call all around. I hope everything works out for the best.

I am sure it will. Despite our differences, she is a good person and mother, and he (the ex-husband) is a stand-up guy all the way. She was the one who made it clear about the updates before I even asked about that option.
