A preview of old age.

Yeah, I seem to be having it happen to me more often. I think it is from my genes on my mom's side of the family. My mom's memory has been ****ty for as long as I can remember. It wasn't that long ago that my memory was bulletproof.

I must give mookie a rousing *golf clap* for his thread in D1. Actually - threads. Both are doing exactly what he intended!! :) It's fun to see.

Those are beautiful threads, no doubt. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

I bought a Husqvarna snow blower from Amazon just before the MN sales tax collection kicked in, just took it out of the box and tried to do the prep today. It was missing the fill cap for the oil tank and the ignition key. I'm hoping that the ignition key is a generic shape that Husqvarna can easily send me, and the cap too. I contacted Amazon to get an exchange or return, but they wouldn't do it. Instead they gave me a 25% credit for the trouble. That's more than worth a missing oil cap and ignition.

note to fellow residents, don't ***** about the heat not being turned on when we can still have nights where the low is in the mid-****ing-70s. They switched over October 1st... usually they do it 10/15 (which I realize is now, today... but its still the night of 10/14). I half want to think its because they wanted to save on electric bill. I should be asleep... I should have bought a fan. Morons.... humid and 76 for a low is something I only have dealt with on a rare August day in mass before we got air conditioners.

Good Morning Lodge.

Traveling to Milwaukee tonight (driving) so Jr can visit Marquette tomorrow. Then Friday we drop him off at deer camp on our way home. One of his buddies from the trap team has a place in SE MN and there is an early antlerless hunt this weekend. So he'll be trying to kill Bambi's mom.;)

Bambi and his mom try to kill me every morning as I drive in to work. Worst part of this season. They are very active and are constantly near or crossing the roads I use.

Kill them. Kill them all. Unfortunately, the DNR has their heads up their collective asses and somehow think the population is down, so no one can bag more than 1 deer this year. They don't hire rocket surgeons at the MN DNR.

Come to my back yard instead. We have a herd that eats my shrubs.

Deer manage to get into downtown DC frequently. One was photographed over the summer in the flower beds between the buildings of my condo.
