Howdy Lodge. Had jury duty this morning. Had to report at 8am. Was all convinced I was going to get selected and panicking somewhat given I'm traveling again next week. I have no problem with being selected/having jury duty but was a little concerned what would happen if they picked me. All jurors were called up to the courtroom, they told us about the case, that it would literally be a one-day thing, over tomorrow. Then they started impaneling a jury and they got what they needed before they called my number. And then they said there were no more cases that day so we could go home. At 10:05!! Score!! I came in to the office so I could get stuff done so that I can take tomorrow off instead of giving myself a play day today.

Work day: ugh, gimme one more hour of sleep, please!

Day off: wakes up hour earlier than normal, isn't tired.

This happens darn near every time. Ugh.

That's only because you're excited for life instead of dreading it for a change. ;)

Good Morning, Lodge!

My goal is to make half way through the day at work. I get a text from my boss yesterday thinking I am quitting by not coming. Wouldn't you think that I would start taking my stuff home for that to happen? Hopefully, I get another job offer soon. I know most of you want me to get the job at the liquor distributor. That interview is on Monday.

OK. I would give my eye teeth to have today off. Even if I had to wake up hours early. Just sayin'

Good morning Lodge. Happy Friday. I took today off. I had an 8:15 dentist appointment today to meet with my dentist to see how the new, tiny and ridiculously expensive mouth guard he made was working with my jaw pain. I told him it's not working, I'm still experiencing constant pain. He did nothing to alleviate my concerns. Not sure what my next step will be.

Today is my mom's 80th birthday. Her sister turned 65 last Saturday. We're doing a big family dinner tomorrow night. As a surprise, my brother is flying in from LA on the red eye tonight. I have to pick him up at 6 tomorrow morning. He leaves Sunday afternoon.
