Scarlet, since you're 29, I figured your mom was not older than 49 or so. ;)

Dinner at Mancini's tonight with my parents and sister and BIL. Mmmmmmm...... Big hunks of beef....

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

I have to give 6-8 wks notice to take a day off.

Depending on the time of year, I can give 24 hours notice, or I might have to give a 6 months' notice, for guarantee to get the days off. For example, the Final 5 tourney? I ask off for in November. Anything around the major Federal holidays? Prob 4-6 months min. Some random day in summer? Day's notice.

Depending on my work load........I can take time off whenever I want. One of the perks for being near the top of the food chain. ;)

My bro just called me. It is snowing hard in Bemidji right now.

3rd seniority here. BUT, can only ask for 5 days off initially (before Jan 30). After those 5 days, or that date? First come, first serve.

Edit: my new position DOES change that a little. I can't have the same day off that my backup has. However, I have preference over my backup (he's down on the seniority list)

Awesome, Grey.

Gonna catch up with my aunt tomorrow, who's in town for a horse show (she boards them for her living). Only see her on holidays, usually.

Sitting in the car waiting for pb to get done running. Way too cold and windy to stand outside watching people run. Only 30 more minutes and we can finally go get breakfast. Tomorrow morning we decided we're going to Mickey's for breakfast while he is running.
