Mrs. g took him in to urgent care earlier this evening as he had a temp of 103. He has pneumonia. But he puked earlier today and he also puked earlier in the evening. In addition to pneumonia he must have the flu............ or Ebola.

Given what little g is dealing with.....he really doesn't need to be messing with an illness.

In other news, my chili won the golden ladle at work. By winning at work I then had to make chili for the United Way chili cook off yesterday. Approximately 40 chills were represented. Rumor has it that mine was voted #1! Results are unofficial though.

It just so happens that I cooked up a whole chicken for dinner Sunday. I also cooked up the leftovers and made some awesome chicken stock. I made a kick azz chicken noodle soup tonight. Ebola doesn't stand a chance against kick azz chicken noodle soup.

Just as long as little g stays healthy and (selfishly speaking) myself. I have a camping trip lined up next week with my uncles. After work on Tuesday I am heading up north and I can't be sick. Since I am being selfish I hope it's cold as well. I want to fire up that wood stove in my tent and see how it works.

I have a Cabela's Alaknak tent. It is a four season tent and it is made so that a wood burning stove can be used in the tent. The entire set up is pretty sweet.

Edit. Youtube and search for "Alakank tent- first snow" . It's my video of my tent set up. I had it at up at a friends house earlier this spring.

That...sounds all the awesome. Fire, tent, solitude (for the most part).....yeah. I could go for that.
