Hi from the veranda at The State Game Lodge at Custer State Park. 63 and blue as a blue birds butt. Perfect out.

It was great weather for a run. Sunny and in the 50s with only a slight breeze.

I haven't been there since 1981 or so. Back then my family took nearly a two month vacation and visited Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and the Black Hills and all points in between. We are planning on taking a vacation there one day but we are waiting for the boys to get a bit older.

So the ceiling in my second bathroom has a leak. Apparently the upstairs neighbor's toilet has a leak. I'm not going to go up there till tomorrow but what is my recourse here? Do I call my insurance company? Do I find someone to fix it or do they? Of course, this has to happen before I hit the road again.

Contact the property management. Their insurance should cover it (I think). Someone else's insurance covers it, that much is for sure. Depends on your contract with the property's owners.

Custer State Park has a National Park feel to it, amazing place and it was fantastic this weekend, not very crowded since school is back in session. Just the GE's and retirees. :D

EDIT: The plane boarding skit on SNL was pretty dam funny.

So a couple months ago around my birthday my friend made me a deal to swap out/buy a pinball machine. Turns out it developed an electrical problem before he could finish cleaning it up, he couldn't figure it out, so he didn't feel comfortable selling it to me. Well, tonight something came up and a little change of plans was hatched. I came over, checked out said change of plans, and delivery is set for Wednesday.

GETTING AN EFFING TWILIGHT ZONE. I AM SO GEEKED. DON'T TOUCH THE DOOR.

Good Morning (barely) Lodge.

GE, Custer is great and it is just like a National Part. We stayed there a few years back when we went for a family vacation.

Disappointed with the chickens I smoked yesterday. I left them in too long and the breast meat dried out too much. Internal temp was about 180 instead of 165.:o
