Allons, enfants de la patrie, le jour de gloire est arrivé!

Translation: King Louis XVI surrenders.

Good Morning Lodge. :)

Morning.

Celebrity softball is more entertaining in person than it ever was on tv.

Gallo for USA crushed a HR in the futures Game about as far as I've ever seen one go.

The "celebrities" at that game were pretty weak. When I went to the celebrities game in Boston, Kevin Costner was there. Say what you want about him...he's a movie stah. :)

I agree. But it was fun to see the legends and a couple good looking ladies. ;)

J. Smoltz, J. Morris, R. Henderson, O. Smith, R. Fingers, F. Lynn, J. Thome, M. Piazza to name a few legends.

Good Evening, Lodge!

I have decided for by golden birthday part deux, I am organizing a group package for the SCSU/UMN game as it is taking place that weekend. Any discounts will help and whoever wants in is more than welcome. I am taking the 20's out with a bang!
There is a 50/50 chance that we would be up for it. But it is too soon to say for sure. Need to get through this week first.

Spent the weekend at my nieces place between Mankato & Mapleton, she moved in with her boyfriend earlier this year.
Really good guy and took me for a ride in HS '67 Firebird. Dam!! Thing has some giddy-up!

He also has a '17 (IIRC) REO, amazing car but not quite as fast as the 'bird. ;)

I heard it from a Friend his REO is just like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:1917_REO_Model_M_7-passenger_Touring.JPG
:D ;)

So, it's not a Speedwagon, then?

I'm out of the office on Friday, going golfing in Elk River with a 8:00 tee time. It's my once per year golf outing, and I'm just happy that there are at least two other golfers going along who are as bad as me at it. It also means that I will only work a single Friday the entire month of July. :)

Good morning Lodge.

For you MN folks, I think Zorbaz is a big time rip off.

Zorbaz bought a local place on our lake and I hate it in comparison to te old place. At least that place had waitresses. I don't know if it's because my job requires constantly serving people or what but it is highly irritating to me when I go to a restaraunt and must go to the bar and get myself another beer, order my food there, etc.

It's not nessecarily a bad place. Most locations if not all of them are located on or near a lake. The thing that gets me is: menus at the table, you must walk up and order your food at the bar, self serve for beverages, silverware and dinnerware are located near the station for beverages. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against self serve. However, if I'm going to over pay for pizza and other bar foods I should not have to be my own waiter. Steps off soap box.

Edit. Regarding my double post earlier today......I posted from zorbaz. Even their wi if is a rip off. ;)

Pretty much sums it up; read this after my post.

I cannot wait until I get out of town. Sounds like I'm hitting up Madison on Wed, Milwaukee on Thu, then Hartford (WI) on Fri. Seeing friends all along the way. Hopefully it's nice and sunny so I can drop the top. Weather hasn't been cooperating when I've been driving non-commutes lately.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Work yesterday was so much better. They fired the person on Friday that would misfile everything and do things in a not so timely manner. Did I mention showing up 30 minutes late and falling asleep at their desk? That too.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Off to work. There is air conditioning there. I have none here. I guess that makes work good....?
