Morning Lodge. Escaped jury selection about 45 minutes ago - only two civil cases this morning. Got sent to the room for the first one, but my number wasn't called to sit in the box. Given the number of folks that got struck for bias against chiropractors, I suspect I came pretty close. In the meantime, the second case was settled. Whew.

To add to the huge list of stuff this week and next, new windows were delivered today, and the windows and siding are getting installed tomorrow. Uffda.

Howdy Lodge. Back in the office today after the long weekend. I'm not a fan of tuesdays in general, but when Monday is a Tuesday....what could be worse? Though it hasn't been all that bad today. Crossing fingers and toes it stays that way. Supposed to be a thousand degrees today.

Good: Five Guys near work just opened!

Yeah, I agree with this. A few years ago I mentioned this, and I think I would have gotten drawn and quartered by all of the fans of those fries if I was standing in front of them.

Good Morning Lodge.

Goldy Jr is 17 today. Doesn't seem possible. Somehow has more impact on me than 16 did, 16 feels like he's still kind of a kid while 17 seems like he should be considered a young adult.

Local TV station weather guessers have declared today a Top 10 weather day. Low dewpoint, clear skies, high of 78, pretty nice day out.
