Yes, they are nuts. Anything about 65 and the AC is on and cranked. When I get to a hotel, the first thing I do is turn the AC down to 64, and then go out to eat while it cools down to a livable temp. Anything about 65 is hot, and anything about 70 is unlivable.

Exactly how I am. A warm 67 in the winter is nice as well.

It has to be close to 80 degrees in the office today. This is unbearable. I'm going home. I hope they figure out how to use the A/C correctly by the time I get back here on Wednesday.

geez.. if only your office had an engineer or two. someone who was good with a machine :D

Crazy weather here. Tornado warnings, severe thunderstorms, some hail. Left the Cape about 3pm. It was sunny but very windy. Heard it was beautiful at home.

Then for the first time ever I heard one of those Emergency Broadcast System thingies. It interrupted a song. Tornado warning, seek shelter. Umm.....

Could see the sky getting darker and saw some bolts. Started to pour about 20 minutes after I got to my parents' house. A second batch just went through. Staying here for a bit before I head to my place.

Pretty good storm here right now too. Jr just went out to pull up the canoe he left partly in the pond the other day.

It's been an off and on day with the weather here. One moment sunny, hot and humid and then out of nowhere the skies turn black and a quick thunderstorm. Repeat x 3.

One of my pie-in-the-sky purchases is the 70's era GMC motorhome they used for the EM-50.

From all accounts those things were awesome. The only purpose-built motorhome from the Big 3 (not just a truck chassis with a motorhome slapped on top.) An Olds 455 under the hood and front wheel drive with dual rear axles because 'Merica. Ever seen a motorhome lay rubber? They called it the "hotrod with interior plumbing."

Goes along with my retirement pipe dream - sell everything and go full-time camper vanning/RVing while putting my generation's spin on it.

That, or I do have a soft spot for an Airstream.

Good Morning Lodge. So this week Minneapolis has the Shriners convention, the All Star game and the Basilica Block party. May want to avoid downtown for a bit...

It doesn't take those things to make me want to avoid downtown.
