Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

I had Vicodin when I had my wisdom teeth removed, and probably only needed them for ~2-3 days tops. I used the whole script. Made me really relaxed, numb isn't the right word, but similar I guess.

You can send them my way if you want, goldy. Check is in the mail ;)

first time I had vicodin I felt the best waking up... the best. But much like that first beer... you can't do it again.

*deep breath*

So far so good. Guests have been notified, a good chunk of those invited for tomorrow are coming today instead. The show goes on. Here's hoping the rain we will get today will not be catastrophic. Think happy thoughts for me, would ya?

Going to grab lunch now before heading over to the Esplanade. If any of you are so inclined, the show is being streamed live I believe. www.july4th.org

And to join in on the conversation - when I had my foot surgery last summer they gave me Vicodin, told me to take with another prescription to keep ahead of the pain before the numbing subsided. They told me to take a stool softener as taking both those meds would cause me to be constipated. I wasn't in any pain, just some discomfort, so I stopped taking the Vicodin as I really didn't need it and it did nothing for me. Why bother? It doesn't take away the pain, it makes you loopy so you don't notice the pain, at least that's how I feel. I would rather be awake and a little uncomfortable than loopy and constipated. [/TMI]

I had perc after the LGF was born. The full dose made my feel anxious, half that did the trick and I was off it a few days after we got home.

Just had my gall bladder removed and they gave me norco; this I like. Which is why I want off it as soon as I can. One of the nurses called and gave me a schedule on how to try to wean off it while still managing the pain.

When I had my appendix out two years ago, they gave me a few Vikes. The first one put me to sleep for a few hours, and the rest subsequently had no effect.

Now, you wanna talk about Ativan...whoa, waaaay too good. With any luck, I won't get it again.

I want to Yawn, but it is raining, and in a few hours it will be windy as Arthur passes offshore. :(

The rain stopped. I went out. Then it started to drizzle which stopped, and now the wind is picking up. I couldn't decide if me and other bikers were the nuttier ones or the people setting up barbecue grills in East Potomac Park.

At Menards bright and early this morning. I'd be mad, but it's only until one, and this is my weekend off. Also, my car has decided that I need the few hours of holiday pay.

Twice in two days I hear about a store which I don't know. I called my cousin yesterday for her b'day, and she mentioned that she took a part-time job in a Menards in MA.

We have Menards?

It's sort of a cross between a Home Depot and a K-Mart.
