No kidding...I had to go outside because I had this strange feeling I left my window open. Luckily, I did not.

Edit: And with that last one.....NOW they're here. That was close.

Just rain right now, but it was nothing, then HOLYNOAH'SARK!

I've got a cracked tooth and the pain is so bad at night it wakes me up. Going to the dentist today. Sigh. Going to be an annoying procedure and expensive.

Depends on the procedure. I had 2 teeth pulled a month and a half ago; ran me over $700.

The rain just doesn't stop. Huge thunderstorm hitting us right now, each crack of lighting brightens the room and the ensuing thunder shakes the house.

Yikes! Glad you're ok and (mostly) damage free.

Thanks.

We went for a bike ride tonight and debris is thinly scattered in our neighborhood and on the bike path. Saw insulation, pieces of siding, school notebooks, pieces of drop ceiling, shingles and a metal tray that either came from the school kitchen or a science lab.

All of this a mile or more from where it hit. They say it was an F3. Again, thankfully no one was hurt. Feel very bad for those who lost their homes, but they are alive.

Crazy. Glad you and your property are ok. Also good to hear that nobody was injured.

Last night was perfect sleeping weather via tent and that perfect weather has carried over into this morning. Cityslickerville, thanks for taking one for the team as it looks like the stormy rainy stuff stayed south of me and kept going east early this morning.

Two gone, both due to infections (random). About the same. Both ER things, too. Thank you, good insurance.
I don't have dental insurance, but I'm thankful the office let me make a payment arrangement.

Got rain last night, and it continued into this morning. According to the radar, the storms you got last night are hitting west Michigan right now.

Walking down the streets of downtown Minneapolis during the lunch and it smells like the MN state fair out there. The food truck explosion has brought some really ecclectic foods to the market, and it's making for some great smells on the street - far outdoing the diesel and gasoline engine exhaust that used to be the main smell downtown.

We hire more people, and it gets busier. Looks like same old sh* as last summer. Ugh.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Day 4 of Hell week. Yesterday was not that bad once people realized that I do not control what time trucks arrive to our facility.

More rain.....pretty sure my feet are now webbed. :D

Work on that, will you? Clairvoyance, too. ;)

Morning.

I think the entire Midwest has been rain soaked for a week.

No sign of let up here either.

Right. He's as stubborn as they come. I've realized that long ago. Michigan Tech Football could win the first championship game in Kansas City next year, held in the MLS stadium, and he wouldn't give a rats booty about it. Wouldn't want to get that Soccer ick on his boots.

I wouldn't want to get that D2 football ick on my boots.
