Good Morning Lodge. One week from now I will be sedated as they cut off parts of my leg to replace them with titanium and plastic.
Seconding it.Good evening Lodge.
Good luck goldy. How much of the summer will you miss?
How can you support something that nobody has yet?A line has been drawn. I don't care what they sell, if it is something that isn't currently released, it is not getting supported by me. My supervisor agrees.
I have one more week with the Cub Foods deployment team. You can then stop blaming me for stuff you can't find. I'm off to Menard's. Then you can start blaming me for their crappy customer pick-up.![]()

Similar things happen in my industry. The customer wants some fancy investment tool that our accounting system can't support? Terrific! Now we get to tell the front office (sales) team why they're either not getting that customer, paying for X number of new FTEs, or that team is paying us to develop a system to support it.They make commitments to customers to provide a product, or a engine rating, that we don't have. Then come to engineering and say "we made a commitment, you HAVE to support it". Or we'll say "we're investigating the possibility of releasing product X", and they take that to mean "start selling product X YESTERDAY!". Sorry people, you won't get support anymore unless you're selling a product that is currently through engineering releases, and officially available for sale.
Rained that day too.... Miserable mist. "Look at me. I'm as helpless as a kitten in a tree.."
What I objected to was her saying she had nothing as she stood in front of trucks of things complaining, acting helpless, saying she didn't know what she was going to do, she had no warning, etc. When we had snow on the ground she was going on about how she had to leave. There is more to it than that. The woman leveraged the house to help oprah's fathers business. Once that went bad oprah bought the mortgage. Later the father was found to be cheating and they split up.
This was the woman's house originally... All paid off, iirc.
Edit: that is not to say that she didn't make a mistake in using the house to help her husband... But it isn't that simple
