Good morning Lodge. It's a sunny Saturday morning. Yet again, the weather guys got it wrong, much like the "chance of an isolated storm, more west" forecast of last night. Which I was trying to find while the Red Sox were playing through a soaking downpour. I should've not even paid attention as it just always rains when I go to a game. I'm not complaining about the no rain today but as late as yesterday they were saying it would be raining. I was hoping they would get the game in as I had a feeling today's game would get rained out.

My parents have put their house on the market and they have an open house today and tomorrow. They have no idea where they're going to go when the house sells. I keep telling them "You realize your house could sell in 2 days?" Oy.

Morning Lodge. Starting to pack some stuff today, trying to get as much as I can to Delano so it's easier to finalize the end-date for moving. There will also be a lot of purging, which I have been meaning to do for a while. There's gonna be some lucky kid in need that is getting some awesome clothes. :D

I reduce what I own by half every time I move. It was even more when I had to haul it 900 miles. Feels good to declutter!

While I can't really do it now, for obvious reasons, about 90% of my kitchen stuff will be donated/trashed. The "utensils" category, I am more well-rounded than Rubette. Other than that...I'm not really actually moving a whole lot. It's not like we're college kids on our first move; we have our stuff for everyday living.

There really isn't a set date. I plan on taking stuff over little by little whenever I head out there for the weekend, and then making one small trip with the big stuff at the end (and there are only 4-5 things that will be on that trip). End of Sept is when my lease ends. I really don't want to do the 1-day supermove with a U-Haul. That's a PITA.

Yawn is right. I am tired, but slept in too late today so my schedule is off. It sucks.

We leave in a week and a half... wedding on the 14th. My daughter is actually coming home tomorrow for a few days... her sister is planning a wedding shower. I've come to the conclusion that all women are nuts!
