Is it weird to say we have our first dance song picked already? It was actually chosen about the time of engagement. It just....was right. We were joking around with songs, and one just kinda hit. (no, it's not a Rickroll or anything).
No, not weird.

We have 2 picked. Pretty sure which it will be, but the other may rise up late and take the crown. Not rock and roll either. ;)

Stuck in Duluth. Car went sideways when I tried to move over for a big singlebody truck that was right on my bumper. That truck then proceeded to take the front end of my car off and kept on truckin'.
Mother **********! Hope you at least got your wits about you quick enough to at least give him a one finger salute as the jerk took off down the road.

I really don't think "Whole Lotta Rosie" is appropriate for your first dance....
That and "Fat Bottom Girls" is more one of the songs that the DJ would play to get or keep people out on the dance floor.

We've (or rather, I've) banned all AC/DC songs. Yeah, take a breath, sit down. Not wedding appropriate. ;)

GWAR? No, they are out, too.

Zorg, GWAR. I was close.

Mrs g and I took some dancing lessons via Community Ed before our wedding mainly because well I sucked at dancing as I had no formal training. Our opening dance was rehearsed and spot on. Now? Probably not so much.

I can fake it through swing dancing. But that's about it. I'm a horrible dancer.

Speaking of AC/DC...I've had the bagpipe part of "It's a Long Way to the Top" stuck in my head for 3 days.

Could be worse...

College is fun when everyone is collectively rooting for a team and likes to get together and enjoy alcohol and cheer them on. Goal celebrations are awesome:p

I kept it under control tonight, stayed a way from the bar scene. I need to have a solid weekend of studying. 2 weeks to go!

With all these weddings the CC part of the Lodge will be busy. Do we need a Lodge complex?

Last day of the work for the week. ...

Morning Lodge.

Our company had a little party at a local bar/restaurant (Grumpy's for the locals) last night. Went home and picked up Mrs and came back up here for it. It was fine, very low key. Got to meet a number of spouses/SOs for the first time.

One guy is a good engineer, very quiet very average. Before last night if you had put his wife in a room with 10 other women of similar age and asked me to pick out his, I would have picked his actual wife on the 11th pick. He is typical engineer - quiet, drab, a little frumpy, short hair, nondescript. His wife is 2-3" taller, slim with fuscia dyed hair, eyebrow piercing, lots of bangles, etc. Very talkative and animated. Talk about opposites attract, wow. I would love to hear how they met sometime.

Good Morning, Lodge!

I hate it when my boss is out at a trade show. My wall has been taken down and I get bombarded from every angle from the CEO. There are not enough hours in the day to get all the stuff the CEO wants done.
