FInally done. I think I crashed about 15 times in 3 hours. Had only 10 charts and not that hard. I can't read the full page list of Docs I am supposed to be reviewing because those white screen. Who ever invented EMR and convinced the a hole medical establishment this was a great idea should be partially skinned alive, eyelids stitched open, honey poured on them and staked out in the desert at high noon over an ant hill. That is all.

Got a little dusty in here. The pride I have in that rant doesn't help, either. ;)
:)

Do you use Epic?
ECW- useless pieces of shi7. To RF one prescription- 26 clicks and 8 windows.

oooh, chocolate ice cream for breakfast

Xheesh. Glad I amused everyone. I thought I was going to lose my mind. There might be more by the end of the day- covering the practice by myself. The work situation is not ideal right now.

Good luck les.

Good morning Lodge. Came into work early so I could accomplish things before my morning meeting. Perhaps I should start on accomplishing those things instead of playing on board.

Good Morning Lodge.

les, I think the concept of EMR is great, execution, as usual with software, is a different matter.

mookie, I doubt Mankato West has a lot of a-girls, golfers or not.

So Jr shot trap last night with full team at the club they'll be shooting at for the rest of the school year. Went OK, but it was cold and the club is all puddles and mud with a bit of snow piles still left. The parent volunteers who stood out there the whole time (me) got a bit chilled. There are 39 kids on the team, two girls. Jr hit 50% which is ok for a rookie. Next week will go a lot smoother as far as logistics and getting it done at a reasonable time.

Morning y'all. Just checked in for my flight here at Louis Armstrong in NOLA. Got myself 3+ hours to kill, then back to God's Country. Got a buddy picking me up and then off to the golf course for 9 holes this evening.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

It would skip/pause/stall/buffer all the time when we tried to watch via our blue ray player. It was unwatchable. Wasn't too bad during "off hours" but was horrible during the evening.
Last couple weeks - after I saw an article that Comcast & Netflix had reached some sort of bandwidth truce - it has worked really well.

Is your blu-ray player a Sony? I have a horrible time watching Amazon Prime through mine. Oddly enough, though, I have better luck watching Amazon Prime through my Playstation. Best of all, unsurprisingly, is to watch AP through my Kindle Fire HD. I should see if I can route the picture for my Kindle through my TV.

You're coming to MN? We should meet up for a beer. Or 8.

On a boring teleconference...hopefully done soon.
Very productive last few days for me. I planned a meeting between 2 different groups, that are both going to be supporting my product, but weren't even aware of each other. Got a few guys from here to fly down to Indiana with me on the corporate jet, met with the other group, and everything went excellent. At the end of the meeting everyone was in agreement that we need to make this a quarterly face-to-face meeting. Then we went out to a local brewpub and I got another growler. On the flight back, I met a higher up in the company, really high up, like reports to the CEO high. He was telling us about our old Indy 500 racecars, and the museum we're building for them. Showed us pictures of the restorations, etc. And told us that we could check them out next time we're down there.

Netflix is actually working.
On Comast.
At night!

Harold & Maude is awesome!

It's been working for about a month now. There was a huge agreement between the two parties (Comcast and Netflix) and literally, twelve hours later I had zero issues getting it to 1080p almost instantly. Weird.

It is. We had minimal issues watchng through laptops and other devices.

Really? I had issues on ALL of my devices. Save for the iPhone when it was on LTE. But my computer, my TV, my PS3. None of them could get past about 384 SD.

Yep, no problems for the most part. In fact, we have a TV upstairs with wireless and didn't have too many issues watching on that TV. We just got AppleTV so we can stream movies via our laptop - since captions are not available when we watch via our Blue Ray player.

It is amazing how the service level miraculously increased.

So I fly from San Diego to Denver today. And then drive to Colorado Springs. The weather sucks. And I have to drive it. By myself. Ugh.
