Snowmageddon here, roads were pure crap within 20 minutes of snowfall/icefall. Slid quite a bit on the way home, didn't even bother with the highways (I knew better). The upside was that business was slower; thinking that our customer base didn't bother trying to work today, expecting this storm to happen.

I chose to leave at the right time, didn't start sleeting until I was almost home. Tomorrow's commute should be fun. Luckily I go against the masses once I get to 394...

I definitely go against the masses both ways on the commute. Plus, the many many routes that I CAN take to work help too.

I want the bag of kittens. I have a tub. I can run enough water in a short time or maybe flush the toilet repetitively. APB out for the azzhat who invented the intertubes and the EMR. I have an anthill marked out for you, you bastage!! Taking 45-60 seconds per window to come up. At least 15 of those per note on an uncomplicated note. I have 10 patients left. I have done 10 pts since I started to post. Who ever tells you this streamlines things is a masochistic sociopath. You do the math (HATE MATH) I might never get to bed :mad:

Drive down was a piece of cake. Got here at the right time. They got serious snow here this morning. Landed in Denver and the sun was out. Made it from pulling out of the rental car lot to the Colorado Springs city limits in 1:05. Nice drive.

Back to the Training Center tomorrow. Thankfully most of the stuff will be inside. Going to be chilly here tomorrow. Nothing like what you guys in MN are dealing with. Ugh. Supposed to be nice at home when I get there on Saturday.

So Jr shot trap last night with full team at the club they'll be shooting at for the rest of the school year. Went OK, but it was cold and the club is all puddles and mud with a bit of snow piles still left. The parent volunteers who stood out there the whole time (me) got a bit chilled. There are 39 kids on the team, two girls. Jr hit 50% which is ok for a rookie. Next week will go a lot smoother as far as logistics and getting it done at a reasonable time.

A few low blows from ya lately ol' man! When I was there, we had plenty of good looking girls. I even managed to steal a sweetheart for 15 months.:eek:

DOne, Intertubes suddenly unplugged.

Started the day by spilling my coffee into my work bag all over the lab letters I had to hand write the night before. Pulled the towel off the bathroom rod and rod broke off wall. Tried to go to work- construction. The detail guy holds me when the bus is coming in other direction. Sit for 5 minutes while the bus makes mult stops before hitting the narrow part of road. Bus goes by. Detail guy continues chatting with the parent of one of bus riders while I continue to wait. Minute 5 I get to go. Get to work. See guy with highest BP I have ever seen out of hosp. Chaos (organized but still chaos) ensues. multiple other FUBAR occur as day progresses. Will I eve stop being amazed by non-compliant people who are shocked or disbelieving when their med situation is messed up? Probably not. no real lunch. another disaster in the afternoon. Working without nurse. MA is awesome but can't triage. Mult crazy, needy patients who do not want to follow advice but MUST come in so I can fix them with magic juice because they are entitiled to be fixed because they paid their co-pay. Get home. Find out Mum les is getting to go home. She has decided D-Day is Saturday but has done nothing about planning, has not talked to the financial people and basically the magic fairies are planning this move. Bro les is coming down and is wondering about the plan and wants to make one. I am insistent she pull up her big girl panties and make her own plan. Intertubes suck. Work server sucks. I neeeeeed a drink. I will have hot chocolate in the AM. I could look forward to the weekend but it will be CF of monumental proportions. Is it next week yet??????

Get out the full metal jacket, a helmet and a very large shovel- Hammer I know you must have one the appropriate size somewhere!!

What would I do without you guys? Everyone else is in bed and I am wired for sound. Chocolate milk does nothing for this. A nice after dinner aperitif or possibly a trip to Jamaica or the Netherlands would work but then I would be late for work in the AM

Little g was a featured speaker tonight at the Tech College. He informed the audience about his story and then explained the challenges he deals with and he highlighted his successes. He did a great job. Quite a few tears in the audience.

WTH are you talking about? Are you trying to tell me MW has a large Asian population? You know I was discussing with mookie, right? You know he is all about the Asian girls, right?:rolleyes: Sheesh, kids these days. Can't keep up with internet board discussions....

I think Jr is truly in the friend zone with this girl. She is going to help out with a charity fund raiser in a few weeks that Jr volunteered for last year and asked her and some of his other friends to help with this year.
