Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Since I am a total a-hole, I like to make fake accounts in order to say nice things to people. That way, I don't ruin my reputation.

mnstateofhockey is...marginally accepted as a fan. He's quite divisive. I personally am staying away from D1 for at least this week as I have heard it all before, plus the newbies factor. It just burns me out. :( I'm just going to enjoy the fact that MN is in the F4, and it's against the team I hate the most (talk about storybook!), and the title game could be against the monster we both do not want to wake.

Is he the same guy as mnstateofhockey on twitter? The twitter version is actually quite good.

Good morning Lodge. On my way to San Diego. 7am flight totally boarded by 6:50. It's. 7:15 and we still have not pulled away from the gate. If we don't get an update soon I'm going to become a screaming baby.

It is odd that today is the same day my co-worker told me the creature growing inside her is a boy. MrsChickens doesn't work in Dexter Michigan does she? That would be weird.

No, no. We actually found out on March 18th, I just forgot to post here. And I did mention on Jan 13th that we were expecting, so no it wasn't a joke. I couldn't think of anything fun to do.

So Brent, I was about to go off on mnstateofhockey in the BC-Union thread. Referencing your "You're welcome" text to me after MN beat BC either this past year or the year before. I decided not to. Not gonna get involved. It was a really good post though. :)

He is in fact the former JDUBBS. This new persona tends to troll a bit less than the former (hence the better rep), but he's still the same twatwaffle (:D) in his core.

I have a great memory for minutia and I remember that mnstateofhockey's first posts were arguing with JDUBBS about some Minnesota youth hockey subject or other that JDUBBS had popped off about. He went that far to sell it. Nut job.

Sure would be nice to turn him red and get him to have to make a new persona... :)

Good morning Lodge.

I am tired. I decided April Fools Day was an excuse to act foolish. So I drove to not a serial killer's house last night after work. He lives 58 miles away. We hung out for a few hours and then I drove home. I barely spent more time with him than driving. It was good to see him though.

Mornin' y'all.

I believe I stated it here, but can't remember. I am coaching the jr. high girls golf team after all, and we've had our first two practices inside. While the first day was spent learning terms and teaching how to assess common penalty strokes, it's not easy to practice inside when we don't have an area to hit. I'm ready for courses to open so we can get outside.:o

Jr is shooting trap for the school team this spring where last year he sailed. One main reason he didn't want to sail this year is how *ing cold it was last spring. Good call on his part. Still not enough open water to sail in at the center BSM sails at (but more open water than all the other sailing teams have). It'll be chilly to shoot tonight but better than the golf, baseball, lacrosse, etc. teams are facing now.

I subscribe but no email. Threads that have stuff that is unread show up in my user CP without having to search. Hit the little arrow on the left and it takes me to the last post I read. Faster than scrolling thru things. I thought Brent was the one that mentioned it in a post but if not it was someone in here about umpty upm threads ago

This is what I do. Maybe once every 2-3 weeks I do a forum browse for new and interesting threads.
