Breakfast has been served. From scratch Belgium waffles, real whipped cream, strawberries, locally grown maple syrup, bacon, juice and coffee.

Good morning Lodge. Rainy Sunday morning here. It was raining really hard last night on the drive home from Woostah. Good game. Fun to see it. Will not be going back as I have no desire to see BC punch their ticket, with all due respect and apologies to les. It would make me very happy to see Lowell pull this out. And sadly my #OppositeGirl powers never seem to work when BC is involved. :(

Today I need to start packing for my next trip on Wednesday. Thankfully it seems like a good day to fly, unlike all my other take off days. My cousin that lives in Ann Arbor is home as her husband got a job here and they're moving back. Yay! They're looking for houses this weekend and she asked me to come today but I have stuff to do and the weather sucks. Am I a terrible person?

You're not a terrible person. Getting ready for a trip, and keeping your other ducks in a row...sometimes there's just not enough time.

Well, glad I don't have to worry about paying attention to hockey anymore this year. :rolleyes:

Now I can focus on watching my favorite baseball team lose 100 games.

Hey, look at it this way...when the Gophers win the title, one of my Orkney Dark Islands will be opened that night, and I'd share just a tad. Just A TAD, though.

She is converting. Knew little about hockey when we starting hanging out. Last week, middle of the MN game, she said, and I quote, "What the hell? We're playing like crap! Why am I so angry about this?! It's sports! I've NEVER felt this way about sports! What is happening to me?! I like it, but I'm so confused!" :D

She was constantly texting me for updates yesterday on the MN game, too. (she has no cable, and she was watching the children).

I believe he's brainwashing her..

Dinner last night actually was fun with the cousin.. Had them put the Sioux on the TV and I had the Mavs on my phone(somewhat, anyways, WATCHESPN sucks on mobile devices.)

With some help. Some rival fans that are friends of mine knitted her maroon-n-gold scarf/mittens and gave them to her at the tailgate.

I have some good selection of beer to drink that night. Surly Darkness, Bell's Black Note, St. Peter's Cream Stout, Class of '88 Smoked Porter, etc.
