You know what's awesome? Back spasms. I usually can work through them (no, it does not feel good), but today was a no-go. Lasted about 3 hours into my shift, and just couldn't take the pain anymore. Prob the worst I've had in a couple years. Also broke my attendance streak (non-scheduled PTO) which was years. I didn't even know how to log the hours I missed today (as in how to categorize them in the computer). That's how long since I missed even a partial day. :(

5 hours of alternating heat pad/no heat pad seems to have cured it, but I think I won't push it tomorrow at work.

All I can say is, get it looked at now, before you end up like my dad. Did something to his ankle while on a roofing crew in college in the late 70s - ankle problems for years when standing/walking all day. Had both hips replaced in 2007. Has had periodic back spasms that he's ignored for years, and now doing PT in hopes of avoiding surgery.

He's worked a desk job since 1980, though he's kept active at the gym since the 90s.

This stuff all adds up.

Without divulging details, have dealt with this my whole life. It happens on occasion, and I know what to do to fix it. Sometimes, although rarely, it does what it did today. It just sucks when it does actually happen. No biggie.

It's too bad you don't know a nursing student or someone like that who could help...:p

Morning. Hanging out at one of our fleets here in Texa$ City for the night because it's sea fog and I can't see half a mile. Can't let myself get airtime on your local news network as we learned can happen last weekend.

Since college hockey is over for some of us.... ....
I'm letting boyfriend (who I've determined is not a serial killer) take me to the Wings game on Sunday. :)

Morning, El Lodge-O.

Man was I excited to see I've finally been on here long enough to make the POTY poll. I actually cheered. Good times. (Mrs.StPaul didn't even ask why I was cheering at the computer. :( )

Looks like my late charge wasn't enough. Strange that several who rarely post here anymore, if ever, are still doing very well. Tough to break the cycle I guess. :)
