Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

I had my semi-annual dental appointment today. The hygienist pulled out the big guns to clean my teeth today - a sonic scraper. That felt weird. She said that there was a lot of tartar build up this time, but thinks that it might actually be related to my weight loss. Apparently, it's possible that dropping large amounts of weight can change the chemistry in the mouth so things that don't normally happen will occur for a short period of time. I never thought that losing weight could lead to bad teeth. Learn something every day.

I tend to have a lot of plaque build up, always have. That's why I go for a cleaning 3x a year, instead of 2. I have dental insurance so they pay for 2 and I pay for the third one. My next appointment is in March. Oh joy.

I've spent all day today, reviewing and compiling copy for updating our "playbook" for our USOC sponsorship. It's funny now to see what we included two years ago when we were just kicking this off. The next iteration will be much more streamlined.

Since most dental ins. covers 2 every 12 months (not a calendar yr) you should be able to space them out and only pay for a 3rd cleaning every other year? I feel like it would work, but it's math.

I think they're like all coyotes, eat what they can get. These are looking healthy and well fed. Probably on bunnies, stray cats and Edina purse dogs.

Eta: you need remedial math class.

Did you have a decent shot at the coyotes?

Tell us about Edina coyotes. Do they scrounge for left over cake?

I saw a fox trying to cross I-94 in front of me on my commute this morning.

Actually, it snuck out onto the shoulder, looked, realized it was a bad idea and went back into the trees.

No. Maybe someone good with a rifle, with good optics and a rifle with decent range could have, but not me. Probably 150+ yards out. My 22 and the two shotguns we have would not have had much of a chance.

Doesn't matter cause I really don't want a charge by the cops.

Stupidity is like herpes. It's always around, but only flares up during the one time you really don't need to deal with it.

That kind of week.

So they're back!?!

That's probably a bit of an over share for the Lodge.

Might want to keep that in the Extras thread. ;)
