Good morning Lodge. No meetings today. That's a first. I'm sure that will change at some point today. I may go home early, still have a headache. Crazy protesters blocked traffic this morning on a main artery heading into Boston this morning. So stupid. Took one of my co-workers 2.5 hours to go 18 miles this morning. What a pain.

Apparently they forced an ambulance with an 83 year old car crash victim in it to divert to a smaller hospital. Some other guy called into a radio station claiming he missed a custody hearing.

Also, they had their hands in 55 gallon drums filled with concrete. Concrete does two things while it's curing:

1) Gives off beaucoup amounts of heat. Enough to cause burns.

2) Compresses anything inside it. Crack go the bones.

That protesting BS would stop in a hurry if people would just learn how to use their bumpers. You don't need to be going that fast, just keep going and don't let those fools out in the middle of the **** interstate set up shop in front of a parked car.

Just found out that one of those protesters is from my hometown. Ew.

Headache still. Left work at 2pm and I've been sleeping since I got home. I hope it goes away. I got stuff to do tomorrow.

Christian Folin played for Mr les team. Now #5 playing D for the Wild. Shot the puck so hard when he was playing here he blasted it straight thru the net and out the other side. They had to look at replay to count the goal :eek:

The kid does have a cannon. He's shown it off when he has had the opportunity. Gets along well with Brodin, with the whole being from Sweden thing.

I saw a similar thing in the 2001 WCHA Final 5, SCSU's D-man (DeWolf, I think) put a shot through the net at the Xcel Center against the Gophers. It's one thing to see a guy do it in a standard rink with worn down nets (local rinks, not college rinks), but to see it at the X during its first year of operations was just amazing.

I vaguely remember that, too. I'm not sure if they scored it or if it was against them, but they were in the game; it was during their Frozen 4 run a few years ago.
