Welp. Surgery got moved up a couple hours for tomorrow. Gotta be at hospital/ASU for 0730, so 0900 surgery instead of 1100. Gonna be a cold one tomorrow too, not sure I'm a fan of this sillyness. Supposed to drop to -10 tonight, high of +2 tomorrow. Yuck.

edit: Just kidding. They called back shortly afterwards and said back to the original times. Maybe it will be out of sub-zero at 0930

You're getting tomorrow the junk weather we have here today. Enjoy.

Evening tLodge, got an interesting email last night that I hope leads to good things on the career front. Also, somehow got Saturday off and didn't even ask for it.

I am ****ed off at them for false info. I was in VA about 4:30 PM on the Orange line heading back home, wanting to transfer at L'Enfant Plaza to the Green line to the Waterfront station. I live a block from there. The announcement on the train said they were bypassing L'Enfant Plaza and if one wanted the Yellow or Green line get off at Metro Center and take the Red line to Gallery Place to transfer there. Sounded fine to me. When I got to Gallery Place, I found out that the Yellow and Green lines weren't running at all, and there was a mob outside the station waiting for buses which weren't coming. I ended up walking two miles home. I could have continued on the Orange line to Federal Center SW and just had a 10 minute walk, a walk which I often do.

I might be up for catching the Gophers hockey game at OC again, if you're interested.

Evening, Lodge. Not much happening around Chez Rube. Basically waiting for The Call to let me know RV.2 is on his way. Should be within the next 2 weeks. To echo bbdl's earlier furniture posts, I'm scouting out some new furniture, also. Probably will wait until the snow melts, though. Less messy for getting rid of what I have/buying what I want. Until then, just changing up the little things like wall decor, DVD/movie racks, lamps, etc.

Most likely...

Also, is there WiFi in the jury room? Trying to figure if I should download some movies or if I can stream them on Netflix...

I am unsure. I THINK there is. I really don't remember. I slept half the time (you have to go to downtown Mpls, I presume....IIRC off 6th St?).

If that is the place...get to the tv room, get one of the chairs, and get comfy.

Good Morning Lodge. Cold again today.

The battery in the car Jr drives gave up the ghost yesterday. Had to go get a new one put in last night. Battery makers have this down to an absolute science. About 6 months past the 4 year warranty the battery is dead, dead, dead.

Good Morning, Lodge! My check engine light is on in my car. The last diagnostic ran on it didn't show anything. I don't want anything to happen on my way to Prescott.

It's sub-zero here.

The battery for my 4-wheeler lasts about a year. Using the winch for plowing just kills it. Unfortunately, they don't have more than a year guarantee, for that exact reason. And they are crazy expensive for what you're getting, about $80 a pop.
