Good Morning Lodge, belated Merry New Year.

We also got our Christmas stuff down yesterday, tree came down at half-time of the Gophers' loss.:(

Good morning Lodge. Posting from work. It's been two weeks since I've been here. Very quiet. Glad I came in though. Hoping to get the stuff done that I had hoped to do while at home. Loving that I have this one day of work, then the weekend!

See you tonight, Gurt. We'll be the ones cheering for the winning team, first row, corner, side that Tech shoots at twice.

Good. Depending on which of those two corners you're in, you'll be in range for my marshmallows with pennies in them. ;)

I'll be in the suite in the 200s directly behind the Badger bench.

Did you get just one seat or do you now get your own section when you buy a ticket to WI games. :D

Major work pet peeve - when someone within the company that I don't know transfers someone to me but doesn't stay on the line to make sure I'm the right person.

Unfortunately, my guess is that it will be quite empty tonight.

S'upp y'all

Mookie loves sitting at the bar at Jacob Wirth's and having lunch :D

I think all schools have a problem with attendance during break. I expect to be able to pick my seats at the Mariucci Classic tonight.

No doubt. Even when we used to have great attendance, break - especially the holiday tourney - was a low point.

With recent trends (the past few seasons') in declining attendance and the team's performance this season, I expect this weekend to be a real low point for actual butts in the seats.

Being able to pick your own section may not be all that farfetched.

We'll see.

Whatever. I'll still have fun tonight.

Half day (voluntary time off) for work today. I'd rather relax at home then get paid to sit around at work and be bored out of my skull. If they let me surf the 'net or something, that'd be different. Still got my 40 hours in, though, so no dent in the paycheck. I literally picked 1 thing in the last half hour I was there.

On my way home. So many people were out. Glad I came in, though. I finished a presentation I didn't have time to finish before Christmas and never felt the urge to work on while I was home. My boss was in. She told me to leave at 1:30 and work on it at home. I told her it was getting done because I was in the office. And now the weekend! I like 1-day work weeks.

One more Christmas left- Little Christmas happens on Sunday with the last of the relatives on my Dad's side. Then I can relax.

When I first read that quickly I thought you said you were having the rest of the laxatives for Christmas. I was concerned.
