And the winter restart button has officially been pushed in my neck of the woods. Snow is coming down pretty fast now.

Mornin' y'all.

We're expecting 3-5 inches down here starting around 4 pm. 38 tomorrow so it shouldn't be much of a problem for too long.

Today has the potential to be like a "Scarlet Tuesday." Gonna hope for the best and just remember that I'm off to Minneapolis Thursday.

Not me. Not with the wedding and honeymoon this year. We'll be having some people over for the championship game, like we have the last 2 years. It is kind of a special event now, as the first time my fiance came over to visit was for the national championship party, and we had our first date a few days after it.

Must be a special lady if she saw the compound, gun range and I can only assume... animal carcasses and still wanted to go out with you. :p

Good evening Lodge.

Woke up to about seven inches of snow this morning. It snowed for most of the day but it was warm enough that any snow that fell melted vs accumulated.

My new tent is still up as I wanted to see how it performed with some heavy wet snow in the forecast. It weathered the snow like a champ. Fired up the wood stove this evening and in no time it was toasty and comfy inside. The tent is quite impressive.

I'm already looking forward to some winter camping next year. Anyone want to joint me? :)
