I'm worked over.

Big Boss stopped at the offsite today, talked about our metrics (seconds per tasks). Apparently, they usually don't plug in my numbers, due to the nature of the process at offsite (one person for about a 25K sq ft warehouse affects things in a not good way). However, yesterday, I apparently did well enough to IMPROVE the overall metrics by about 5%. That. Should. Not. Happen. And Big Boss made that clear. That made my day. Hopefully that improves my raise this year.

The downside being I am aching right now. Can't wait for my vacation starting next Thu.

Congrats tho. Hearing you are doing a good job is always nice.

Good Morning, Lodge!

For those who have Terrible Tuesdays, Wednesdays are horrible for me. I was right about to deck someone. I just finished explaining why we do not have product then 5 minutes later, the same person sends an email to all of management asking why. At least my boss knew the explanation and only got on my case about the samples, which he received 3 hours later. People at my work want the information, I send it to them, and they do no read it and have to bug me to get an answer. I asked one person why they didn't read the update. They go "all I care about is the ETA". Well there was a bold line above explaining the stock issue.

Hammer, give me the shovel.

Hey y'all. Game day! We're on the road to face New Prague, the team that upset us to go to the State Tournament last year. I'm excited.

My college roomie and a bunch of other college friends were from New Prague. Went to his wedding there. Interesting place...


Rivalry game for the boy today as he plays against the high school he would have gone to if we didn't open enroll him to where he is going.

He played with (and I coached) a few of the kids on the opponent tonight. First of 5 games in 10 days. :eek:


The boy is firmly entrenched at 3rd line center and we roll 3 lines, so he's getting good ice time and is playing like he belongs. Should work up a good lather tonight considering the opponent.

I bet it's far different than when you were there..that place just continues to rapidly grow, as the suburbs move further South.

New Prague has always kind of been a rival, and with both teams enjoying sustained success the last few years, it has naturally budded into a nice rivalry.

#7 vs. #14, should be fun!!

I think you were the only one who considered it an upset at the time. :p

Jr played New Prague his last couple years and they hosted the D6 tournament a couple of years. What a PIA to drive down there several weeknights for the tourney games.
