Good Morning Lodge.

On my FB feed this AM there is an ad to the side for "Men's Casual Hoodies." Are there FORMAL hoodies? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

Oh no need to apologize les. :)

I got TV back but the DVR is still not working. Hopefully that will get fixed overnight. This is so annoying. And a BC fan was kind enough to point out that they've already lost two in a row so that officially means BU has no shot on Friday. Where are you guys playing les? I may forego heading to Conte as it will most likely be a **** show of epic proportions. I know UNH hosts Michigan State...that may be too far though.
NU is coming to the Tsongas Tsenter tomorrow and then they are at NU Saturday. I don't know tho- BC looked downright awful when they were here. Despite the fanboys howling with outrage when I posted I was unimpressed, there weren't even flashes of brilliance.

First thought - you actually look at those ads- I wouldn't know what was on that sidebar if my life depended on it. Second thought- there are prob hoodies with all sorts of bling :p

Good Morning, Lodge!

I hope to get out of work by 3pm. Heading to Milwaukee for the weekend. I already have a list of bars that I have to be at and times too.

Found a fairly slow water leak just below the hot water valve for the washing machine last night. Wife said she heard what sounded like water running, so I investigated. Not what I needed to find at 10PM. Water was leaking from the fitting that comes with the plastic piece that sets inside of the sheetrock. I just turned off the water for the night and went to bed. Woke up at 5:30 this morning to fix it. weeeeeeeeee

Had to punch a hole in the wall in the downstairs bathroom (which needs to get renovated anyway, whew) pulled the fittings apart, and found that there was a tiny crack in the one. I have no idea how that can happen, but it did. Took the bad piece out and cobbled together a quick fix so I could turn the water on again. Need to go get some parts to fix it, but first things first, Garth is tonight.

My car passed inspection. :) One thing good about being retired is that one doesn't have to do this when it is busy. It probably took 15 minutes from when I left home (0.5 miles from the DC inspection center) to returning. It has sometimes taken a couple of hours.

If you come to Boston for the Frozen Four, I'm going to need you to come over to check my place out and fix stuff for me.

Well, it is looking like we are going to Boston, tickets bought and hotel reserved, but I can't make any promises. :p

The boy is cleared for contact after his broken collarbone in early September.

Came out and played with me last night and looks good... fast. Tryouts next week, so just in time.

On another note - j f c did I stink up the ice last night. I've been on a real good run of late (last year or two) and playing really well. Last night it all came apart. No legs... bad decision making... failure to execute... no competitive fire...

It's at a time like that -last night - that I really hate hockey.

I have a comment I really want to make here but I know if I do it will come back to haunt me tomorrow night.

Good for him! Jr has tryouts starting Monday too, but he is a real long shot to make either JV or varsity. Hope he makes Jr. Gold the following week, otherwise he's done until old guy hockey.

Really hope your boy makes it.

I imagine my boy would be scrambling to try and make JV in that program as the depth is undoubtedly much greater up there.

Good luck!

Booked a trip to Salt Lake City for 2 weeks from now. Yay, Mormons.

Definitely plan to go to Park City while you're there. It's about 30 minutes away. Cool facilities from the 2002 Olympics and it's where they have the Sundance Film Festival.

There is basically a 100% chance of rain all day today.

I overheard one girl say to another "How do everyone know it's going to rain?"

I assume cause she saw umbrellas in use and she didn't have one.

/dumbfounded

Its for work, not sure how much time I'll have. I am going out there to assess/audit a training course, so I have the information for when I restructure the training strategy for the entire product line.
