Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Back to the desk. Was at the farm all weekend, spending most of my time pre-emerge spraying corn. Got quite a bit done, and helped out my dad quite a bit. I'll be taking a vacation day and going back down on Thursday to start spraying bean ground. Then back up to the cities for work on Friday, and back down to the farm on Saturday. Lots of traveling back and forth...

We hope to be back down there Saturday before sunrise again.

Latest update: Nelson being charged with 1st degree and 3rd degree assault.

I'm very confused and just kind of lost right now. Hope everything is straightened out one way or another and for the best for Kolstad.

Apologies but I feel like I came into this halfway through. Who are these people and what happened?

Have you spoken with the police yet? The police are asking for witnesses in the article I read on St. Paul paper's site. Either way, you might want to delete some of your earlier posts in this thread. Weird things happen during the legal process and someone might compare any accounting you offer officially against what you've written pretty much anywhere you could have told the story - here, in emails, etc..

The Nelson kid was the starting QB for the Gophers, grew up in Mankato. Kolstad played football for Mankato State. Kolstad and Nelson exchanged some words after some alcohol was involved, it turned physical, apparently including some bystanders, and now Kolstad's clinging to life in critical condition at the hospital while Nelson has been charged with 1st and 3rd degree assault.

Agreed. Mavsy, I wouldn't be posting much about it, and if you saw something, you should talk to the police. I see no way that you'd be in trouble, and getting the story straight is going to be important.
