Palmetto dunes.

yup. wasn't sure how north it was.

i went down against in december but never got onto the island. was up in beaufort/okatie when not in charleston. closest i got was breakfast one day on 286 before the bridge - looking for that old pancake house that turned into a diner. bummed me out :(

Fazio Villas. The plan is to rent it out during the peak rental season. We will keep it open for family and friends to use during the other times. I'm not a golfer so I'm not sure what the resort has for golf but I know the area has some ok golf. ;) if you are in the area and the place is available and you need a place to crash I can hook you up.

Edit. Just waiting for the attorney to put the finishing touches on the crazy family member that caused some serious chaos the past few months.

That sucks Monster.

We took our little guy to the vet today. He was there all day, and came back minus a couple parts. He seems a bit distraught right now, and he wants to stay really close to us. It seems today was a bit traumatic for him. :p He's on painkillers now, and just sleeping by the couch, so he'll be just fine.

Also decided to spend a little more and get him microchipped.

Took a day of vacation to deal with the dog, and then to get some wedding stuff done. We ended up down in the cities to order paper for invites, and do a registry at Macy's. Traffic was terrible, 100% because people are horse**** drivers.

public golf on hhi isn't the best, but palmetto has the best collection of courses. shipyard is blah. hilton head plantation is blah but better than shipyard. sure sea pines has harbour town, but the other two are not enjoyable.

and thanks. ask anyone who knows me. if you offer i'll probably take you up one day :p

If the course doesn't have a windmill or a par 4 clown face hole I'm not interested in playing it.

My email is on this site. Can't make any promises.

Understood. I tend to stay up near spring island as I play at Chechessee when I visit.

Can't beat she-crab soup!

So much for that trip to the vet.... Looks like the dog just passed away an hour ago. :(:(
Sorry. :(

Another crazy??

Sorry. :(

Another crazy??

Same one. It has been voted off the island and forever erased from my life.

Speaking about crazy.............Crazy how time flies. Next week it will be one year since I got "the call" about my dad.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #172: Did you see your shadow?

Saw on Facebook that Billy Joel is playing at Fenway in June. As my dad is a season ticket holder, he usually gets a letter from the Red Sox about a ticket pre sale. One of my friends knows this and she has tagged me in the Facebook post and also sent me a direct message with a HEEELLLPP message. I'm expecting a text soon.

Now, as we are Facebook friends she should be able to determine that I am in Dallas. In addition, my parents are in Florida. So if the Red Sox sent the letter, it's at their house and they're not there. Also, does she think that maybe I want to go??? Not sure if I can get to their house to check the mail between this trip and my trip next week either.

Thanks everybody. That did just suck having her go today. Got her resting in a box out in the garage for now. Just too **** cold to really bury her, might stick her in the freezer when it starts to warm up and thaw the ground out.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #172: Did you see your shadow?

Yeah this week needs to end. Boss passed, my back basically out, long hours, Jeep is acting funny (though nothing serious), weather...

But hey, a good weekend is planned. Definitely looking forward to it. :)

Amen to that!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #172: Did you see your shadow?

I shouldn't still be out and about. The lady is going to be mad. It isn't my fault that I don't work Fridays and she does.

I like to think that I make up for Thursday nights in other ways.

Yes, that's a hanging curve. I even hit enter a few times to make things easier for you folks. Internet form of HGH.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #172: Did you see your shadow?

Good Morning Lodge.

SOH, you saw how I F'ed up this poll so I'll let someone else go yard on that one.

So Jr and I have not seen Edina play yet this year. We know kids on both JV and Varsity (former teammates and buddies of JR). Same for Holy Angels and they play at Edina tomorrow so we're going to watch a JV and a Varsity game tomorrow with no BSM involved. I may have posted this before (sucks getting old).
