Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Thank God for Southwest A-list preferred status. I SHOULD never deal with a middle seat when I fly with them.

I'll be leaving Baton Rouge area in the morning and headed for the Houston/Galveston area.

I rarely have a middle seat, and I feel self-conscious when I do. I have long legs, and cannot fit behind those seats. I feel bad about it. :(

I usually try getting exit row or an aisle seat for that reason. Ideally, Southwest has an exit row window seat, except there isn't a seat directly in front. So I can really stretch out there. Tough to get that one though.

Lazy journalism causes fixation on stupid things like this when there are people dying for our country, folks starving etc. Much easier for everyone to talk about one unimportant man. Grr.

Aaaaand Good Morning everyone!

Good Morning, Lodge!

Work has been really slow. So, as I am one of two in the office that knows all the products, we have been selected to clean the samples department in the warehouse. This is the second time in two years we have done this. We have made it clear this time, if you mess it up, you are going to have to deal with my wrath.

Good Morning Lodge. Tired today.

All tremble before of the wrath of The Lady wore Black!

Good morning Lodge.

Hard to focus at work today when we have our holiday party at 11. Spent the morning handing out chex mix to my co-workers. 'cause that's how I do holiday presents. Unfortunately, I did not have time to make enough for 50 bags of chex mix, so my goal of giving something to everyone will not happen. Instead, I'm playing favorites.

I just try to fly Business Class.

I'm not looking forward to whatever seat I will get for my Nashville to Houston flight leg next week. I'm flying Southwest and have 45 minute connection time, so we'll see if I can get to the gate by the time boarding starts, or if I'll be last one on the plane take whatever seat I can get. As long as I make the flight, I'll tolerate whatever seat. Unless the person next to it is sick, or a loud chewer. Then I might go crazy(ier).

The easy answer is don't do work.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

The county has redefined restrictions for the public use of jumbotrons near subway stations. Nominally, the rules are must be within a 1/4 mile of the station and no more than one in any 2/5 mile (yes, math... one jumbotron per station, essentially).

So, I was wondering if it were possible, even though unlikely, and I'm not going to pursue it, to get a LOLcats jumbotron outside of a station.. say Ballston or something. Obviously it'd have to be a charity fund or an endowment.

Morning.

PA now recognizes me as a licensed driver. Not saying much if youve ever driven here.
