WOW!!! That is Glorious!!! A Man walks down the street in that shirt, people know he's not afraid of anything.:D

True. If you're single, all you gotta do is just be brave enough to chat up a group of ladies and you're pretty much in with them for the night. Odds are if there's a group of them, one's bound to be single and available that evening.

Well, you're probably not going to be getting 9's and 10's via the new years eve zone of availability, but how often are you going to be picking them up at a bar anyways? Ugly girls need lovin' too!! ;)
Very large dope slap!!

someone has to fill in for your mother!

Or they might think he forgot to take his meds or they might think an intervention is in order......;):p:D

Good Morning Lodge.

Why can't I get this vision of you skating around with your drawers around your ankles out of my head!
No idea why you have such thoughts about me, but it is quite disturbing. Do I need a restraining order?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Going out on NYE has been great fun whenever I've done it. Don't do it every year, probably won't this year, and we'll probably just have people over for it instead. One year we went out here in the Twin Cities, the bar $1 anythings, and they meant anythings. It was great, and it was cheap.

Howdy, Lodj.

Whoa, it's a Greyeagle sighting! Quite rare. Last seen in some odd, desolate, snowy, donut-loving country. (Not Minnesota. :p)

Did board roll back some posts today? Ones made this am are gone.

During what timeframe? Are they localized within a single thread? Perhaps you've spurned board in some unknown manner and now it's out for revenge.

My post made at 5:59AM CT is still there.

It's good to be home - for now! We leave on Tuesday for Paris & London. They real London, not the imitation in the Great White North, eh. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

So, that position that I applied for, that was about a 3 salary grade jump, I didn't get it. I talked to the hiring manager, I was one of the finalists, but they wanted to hire someone with more sales experience for that role, which does make sense. In a different economic climate, the preference would have been for someone with a technical background (for reasons I don't think I should get into) and I would have been the #1 choice at that point. It was a huge step up, and I was right there as a serious candidate, so I don't think I have anything to feel bad about.

Now there is another position within my current group, only a 1 salary grade jump, which is my next logical step, that I am very interested. It is based in Indiana, but it could potentially be done from here, though it is not ideal. I think I'll apply for this one too, and then it will just depend on if they want someone in Indiana or if they are ok with someone in Minnesota doing the job. I really enjoy my group, and all of the people I work with, and this job would be working on the same engines I'm currently working on, just in a different capacity. If I do get this job I'll probably end up having to be in Indiana 1-2 weeks a month...which would suck.

Best of Luck to you, sir!

Rochester is on the docket for us tonight; on paper we're a complete mismatch, but we'll see if we can put together a more complete performance tonight.

You said "moon" and that's what popped into my head. I'm not all there, but you already knew that. I'm generally harmless, and about 1300 miles away, so I think you're safe. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

On my way home from Houston. It was hot and humid here today. The event was at an ice rink and it was not properly cooled and fog formed. I felt like I was at Conte Forum.

Not sure how I selected a middle seat for this flight.

Middle seats are the worst...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Yo.

Work was DEAD today, so I took voluntary time off in the afternoon to get some stuff done before the busy weekend. Figured I'll stay until the end tomorrow so others can take the VTO that will inevitably happen, and get to their travels for Christmas (lots of out of state and outer-state families). Monday will be a graveyard if today was any indication.

I hope we get more snow than expected tonight. I wouldn't mind a good snowstorm.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Thank God for Southwest A-list preferred status. I SHOULD never deal with a middle seat when I fly with them.

I'll be leaving Baton Rouge area in the morning and headed for the Houston/Galveston area.
