Yo.

Sort of a busy weekend. Hitting up a local taproom tomorrow since PB is in town. Unfortunately skipping the post-taproom bonfire, because I'd rather not drive from Ham Lake to arrive in downtown Mpls at 9am Sunday morning to cheer on 'diva, who's running in the marathon. Then, of course, it's the usual NFL Sunday.

Good morning Lodge. My house smells like tots. Tater tot hot dish is in the oven. I figure it is an appropriate tailgate food considering we're playing Minnesota. I don't think I would know about hot dish if it weren't for USCHO.

Homecoming today, it will be wet.

My kids love it.

FYI.......a friend just harvested some wild rice and he gave me a quite bit. Not the crappy store boughten crap but truly authentic mn wild rice. I will be making a wild rice hot dish today. It is also a tasty dish.

Les, you up for me to send you some wild rice?

2 pounds of hamburger
1 1/2 cups wild rice
1 can mushrooms
Green pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Onion
Celery
Beef or chicken broth
Butter
And of course..........1 pound of bacon
