Hey ya'll. Philosophy class puts me to sleep. Last class of any generals I have to take.

Can't get my mind off of that **** pig.

Fun fact: Minnesota's last Big Ten championship in football was 1967. This was also the year goldy turned 40. Oh, it was also two years prior to us putting Armstrong on the moon.

Ha! Little you know. I was still in high school in '67 and I not only didn't graduate late, I was only 17 when I started college! I assume the rest of your "facts" are equally as reliable. Typical of both 'Kato students and Stinkeye fans. :p

Wait.. Jr has a brother who was 17 in '67?!

Fun Fact #2: Minnesota's last home game in the dome was a 55-0 loss to Iowa.

Good evening Lodge.

Cutting out of work early tomorrow and taking the boys up north to go camping for the weekend. Of course, the weather is going to turn from perfect camping weather all week to rainy and cold by the time we get things set up tomorrow afternoon. Great. Just f ing great. Oh well, we will still have a blast.

Shovel is all mine today. Just found out my grandpa died this morning. Even though we knew his days were numbered, still a huge loss. Last remaining grandparent of mine. Was lucky enough to have 4 grandparents, and 3 great grandparents growing up. Also, it's been twice in a row we've had 4 generations of of my family living at the same time. Hopefully my parents will live long enough to see their great-grandkids, to keep that streak going. :(

Thanks, all. For those on FB, my status was referring to his boxing days in the Army. As kids, we obviously learned that, and wanted to always "spar" with him. The ol' bast ige still was quicker than we were, when we were in Jr High/HS. I was a little better than my (2 years younger) brother, but only because I "fought" left-handed. My grandpa's only two losses in the Army were to left-handers. Didn't know how to fight 'em. :)

Cool.

My grandfather (dad's side) was armed forces boxing champ back in the day. I have no idea when that would have been but I could find out. He was one tough sob. Maybe my grandpa kicked the shiat out of yours or vice versa. ;).

My gramps used to tell me that back in the day he would attend barn dances. At the end of the night it came down to two guys and one lady. My gramps always left with the lady. He also told me he had the horses trained to take the "long way home". If you know what I mean. :)
