Someone has shot about 10 people at the Washington Navy Yard (about a mile from me). That explains all the sirens which I have been hearing.
WIngah close by there, apparently. Prayers for them all
Unless she's moved within the last few years, I thought she was living the Chicago area.I don't know that she lives or works in DC.
Pretty sure she moved. Saw something on FB.Unless she's moved within the last few years, I thought she was living the Chicago area.
Yes, she just moved a few weeks ago...Pretty sure she moved. Saw something on FB.

A woman in my office, the same one that I mentioned inthe Grinding Gears thread, wants access to view my Outlook calendar. She sent a request for it. I'm not sure if A) I should allow it, B) I should disallow it, or C) I should allow it only to populate it with fake blocks of available time listed as "phone porn viewing in the bathroom" or have my Thursday PTO time show as "Orgy Recovery" or "Kitten Skinning" all before giving her access. It's quite the conundrum.

Is she your manager? Or is she responsible for planning meetings for you? Otherwise, no. Our admins have access to the big guys' schedules, that's it. And Outlook allows you to se if a person's time is booked so what could she possibly need access to your calendar for?
She's not my manager, nor is she my assistant. She's my peer, though she's sort of doing quasi-PM work for the project we're working. Still, in 7 years on this job I've never had a PM request my calendar. My boss doesn't even have my calendar.
Just host a pic to a personal site, or photo buck et thingy. Should be good. Or just add the link, and not an image-add.
Photo...buck...et...is a banned word? SERIOUSLY?
My sister-in-law sent out a group text asking me and four others to buy stuff for my niece's fundraiser. Apparently the other four plus my sister-in-law don't seem to understand that when you reply on a group text everyone gets the text. My phone has been buzzing for the last 30 minutes. It's driving me nuts.
