Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

Ohhh, you must be the guy with the shovel, eh? ;)

Even I figured that out!

ETA: I wrecked a car on Saturday. And will receive my first ever moving violation for the infraction (I pulled out in front of someone and got nailed - don't ask how I did something that ****ing stupid). I think I'll end up car shopping later this week as soon as the appraiser totals the old car. :(

Another Outback?

Need some advice, so a couple months ago I applied to an internal job posting in Minneapolis, didnt get the job. Looking on the company recruiting site this morning and there was a new posting for pretty much the same job, the hiring manager is different but his boss is one of the people I interviewed with previously, that probably wasnt my best interview. So do I apply or not apply. Right now I'm thinking apply because the worst they will say is no.

Apply for it. You don't know who wasn't interested last time, if it was the other hiring manager or the guy to whom he reports. Either way, it'll show genuine interest, and it's not like it'll cost you anything.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

That sucks. But at least you will get to update to a newer BMW model year.

Hey, just cause I'm a pr1ck, it doesn't mean I drive a Beemer. :p

Probably another Outback. Downside being this one would have gone to Jr. Now he has to ride his bike through college or buy his own car. ;)

It wasn't me.

I enjoyed the comments on MNS's Facebook status this morning, it seemed like a mini Lodge thread.
I was Jonesing.

I made behind enemy lines!
Still worried about Ralph - seriously had to mess with his precise rep schedule! :D
heh

Morning. Seems that all is well with the board now?

Last weeks interviews went well. Phone interview turned in to an in person one sometime this week. The other interview (in person) they contacted me 5 hours afterward and set up a 2nd interview for this week also. So it at least feels like I am getting somewhere finally.
Good luck!

Heehee. And bummer about the car.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

evening all. Back from a weekend up at GVSU. got up there early and checked out the brand spanking new library on campus. The new one is so much nicer than the old one it isn't funny. the old one felt like it was an underground bunker and it was for a while the tallest building on campus. This new one? I swear one could go there to pick up chicks its just that cool inside of it. **** jealous that I'm stuck paying off student loans now instead of being able to enjoy it.

Game went great, just the tailgate was bit of a crushing reminder of my lack of action as that 2 of my old crew there got married within the month there with there wives. Still in that Happy honeymoon phase. :p
Oh well, I still think they would have gotten a kick out of their wedding gifts I got em. Pretty sure one of the wives is a "50 Shades" fan.

and got another long trade in with my friend out in holland, lot of cussing, swearing, and giggling through the pain at each other as we dig in to clear out each others knots. lot of nasty stuff cleared out of my shoulders.
Can someone translate this?

Can someone translate this?

"Excuse me, stewardess, I speak jive."

Two of his GVSU friends were at the tailgate and presumably also got married in the GVSU vicinity recently. Those same two friends also brought along their new wives, refusing to give monster that bromance loving he so desperately craved.

Then he and one other buddy gave each other rubs. Don't know if they included happy endings or not. There was a mention of giggles though....

When I saw that, I figured people had just started out the day's Lodge postings on my status...:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

Back home. Left my central air up at 85, and completely forgot to cool the house down for when I got home. Needless to say, it's a sauna in here. Hoping it cools down before I get tired and want to sleep.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

Looks like another long week. Did get approval to leave at 8pm tomorrow no matter if we're done or not ( yeah, can I only work 2 hours OT today?) so I can watch SOA premiere. I have to enjoy SOME of my little free time during the week. Not that work knows the reason I asked. I figure, if they let a worker get out "early" to play in his hockey league, they can let me do my thing, too. So there.
