So we talked for about an hour today. We're gonna get together in the next couple of days and reconnect. I feel somewhat relieved. She told me she loves me and has missed me. Until then though, this stupid waiting game resumes.

Off to the course early tomorrow.

Good Morning Lodge.

Gonna grill burgers later today. Probably eat on the porch. If Jr didn't have homework I'd see if we could find enough open water to launch our little bathtub of a sailboat.

One of the other sailing teams who trains where Jr's team does has posted a brief video of sailing there on a recent light wind day. A guy from the UMN team mounted a Go-Pro camera on his tiller. You can see the ice still on the lake in the background of some shots. It gives you an idea of the kind of boat Jr is sailing this spring. I sailed a bit as a Boy Scout, and the "leaning to keep the boat upright" was quite a rush sometimes. Hope Jr enjoys it!

B-I-L keeps his catamaran at our lake place (it was my wife's parents & though my wife and I now own it The Family can come/go/use as they please) and it's a gas to go with him on windy days and hike. Plus, given he's all of a buck-forty my extra, um, mass, helps. :)

Good afternoon Lodge. Just got back from Palm Sunday service. Went with my parents to the Greek church in Lexington rather than our church in Arlington because we would probably still be there if we did. Very nice service, I like the priest there. Now at my parents' house, my mom made plaki, which is a fish dinner. Holy Week starts today, which means a week of fasting.
