Duluth's shutout of Neb-O [6-0] clinches home ice for Denver in the first round of the playoffs. Denver plays A-A tomorrow morning. In the first round of the playoffs Denver will face either Neb-O or Colorado College.
Playing at home tonight Denver beat Louisiana Tech in hoops and thereby won a share of the WAC regular season basketball title. The Pioneers finished the regular season at 21-8 winning 17 of their past 18 games.

HHT. Probably my last time for the season, but what a fun game. 2 penalty shots, I caught a puck, and there were far too many fun cheers to mention.

After the penalty shot, an NMUer got a 10 minute for unsportsmanlike (dunno the situation). It was ugly; I followed the tweeter machine for the game.

Ah, ok. From the reading, it sounded like NMU just gave up. SOG, penalties, score, etc. I mean, anyone with any knowledge of the sport knew NMU was done when it was set that they were going to MI, but still.....at least try.
