Poser threads were up and no one saying anything in here? Gee.

Morning. Have to head to Bumf* Nowhere for my niece's bday. I have "Hello Kitty" and "princess stuff" as guides for a present. SIL was supposed to email me additional suggestions, but of course she didn't because......well, I'm too polite to actually say, I'm sure you get the idea. ;)

Good morning peeps. SPending the day in Duluth before hopefully heading home after the game. Hopefully 35 won't be too icy on my way home

Good morning Lodge. Going to the Bruins-Flyers game this afternoon, then over to Agganis for BU-NU, last regular season home game, probably last game there for the year. Been a tough week health-wise for Terrier hockey players. One of our freshmen goalies was hospitalized with a collapsed lung. I don't think anything happened to cause it. les - is that actually possible? All I know about collapsed lungs is from TV shows like ER, Third Watch and now Chicago Fire - usually it's an accident or some trauma that causes it. I don't think anything specific happened to him, though. He had surgery the other day on it. And then last night one of our defensemen separated his shoulder. Greeeeaaaat. They be droppin' like flies.

I just bought my niece some stuff this morning to give her later today. A Justin Bieber Barbie doll and some Tinker Bell doll and the DVD Brave. I am going to be her new hero. ;)

Collapsed lung can happen spontaneously, or be due to trauma or some lung diseases. They put a chest tube in to suck out the air in the chest cavity and reinflate the lung. Bummer for the kid.

Thinking of you this AM.

Morning.

finally got the page to load. internet here is being slower than dialup, and about as reliable. Called up TC3.net here to get somebody to go line up the antenna again with the radio tower, but they're not sure when they'll have somebody available to come over here. Dang it, there was some stuff I wanted to watch on netflix today.

Ended getting her a drawing/art kit that features many of the Disney movie/cartoon princesses. She loved it. Score one for the clueless uncle. :)

In related news, I really stink at Candyland. :(

I find myself chanting M-A-I-N-E Gooooooooooo BLUE!!!!! if they don't GOOOOOO then my team is relegated to a not so good place before they even step on the ice.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #163: Irish Eyes Smile

Biting the nails tonight. Watching UNH and Maine taking turns self destructing. The commentators are alternately ringing the death knell for either team. Palpitations and it isn't even 7PM yet.
