Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #162: Love Is In the Air

So, my plan is to stay awake for both of my flights, leave MSP at 5:00pm Saturday, 8 hours to Paris, 2 hour layover, then another 10 hours to Mumbai. I'll be getting into Mumbai at about midnight, Sunday night. I hate sleeping on planes, so if I do it this way, I'll be dead tired, and ready to sleep when I get to my hotel. Wake up at about 9am Monday, and I'll have that whole day to recover, and catch my ride to Pune. Work starts Tuesday morning at 8.

It IS rookie season. Things tend to get all willy-nilly.

All the Lowell threads seem to get low-starred at some point (which I usually moderate)... somebody has too much time on their hands.

I thought you were tailgating me yesterday, going up Hanson. Dude in the car behind me looked just like you, and he drove the same car, same color....I was about ready to call you. I pulled off for gas, the guy passed me and I saw that he had a hatchback instead of a normal car.

I wish I had a hatchback. Actually, I wish I had a Mazdaspeed 3, which are always hatchbacks.

Good Afternoon Lodge.

Figured I didn't want to get near any hockey tables last night, plus I knew Brent would have destroyed the *HT long before I got out of the arena. Stood next to the Wooger in line at the pizzer after the first. He turned to me and said "was it just me or was that awful slow?" I agreed it was and said they didn't even hit anyone "well you have to be close to someone to hit them." #Woog's wisdom.

Trying to upload pictures to Shutterfly. A minute ago it told me 2 of 42 files remaining. Now it is 30 of 42 - whiskey tango foxtrot?

Woog is a moron.

Still sour about the loss last night but optimistic we play better tonight. Hopefully that was the last bad game for the year.

Woog is a moron.

Yep, you're definitely cut out for a career in counseling, teaching and coaching the young people of Mankato. That'll guarantee it stays a second class town with second (or third) class hockey.. :p

Grr!11!11!!!

Have trend Titanium internet security. They sent me an email to update stuff. I tried it. It wiped the old trend off but ended up erroring and not installing the new version. I followed the directions to resolve. After 2 hours of trying to get the thing to do what it was suppocsed to got on their live chat with (insert fake anglo name here) on Trend customer support for 20 minutes which netted me a request for my serial number and email to confirm, a very long pause and a link to do exactly what I had done before, when told I did that gt told to do it again. and instructions on how to print out conversation with a disconnect.

Remember I have Geek Squad. Call them. have a nice conversation with the woman who tells me I need to to be connected to a different dept. Can I wait on hold for a brief period? On hold with the Geek Squad for 32 minutes and counting. This music is really aggravating. Still waiting. It

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #162: Love Is In the Air

Well, finally resolved. What a CF.The GS guy was great. Antiviral stuff is back up and running. Ferreted out that I have been billed for more than 1 Trend acct active. To make a long story short Best Buy had 4 of me in the computer and some of the stuff they were emailing me about was obsolete. Another 45 minutes got me refunds regarding the extra Trend acct but found out I can't merge my multiple personalities for some odd reason. At least the people I was dealing with were humorous and trying to help me.

Watching the l'Alliance- go Jon's team!!! They are up 5-0 on the Beagles and Lil is singing "The wheels on the bus are falling off.." and the commentators are mentioning us as possibly being in sole 1st place. The top of our league is so confusing my head explodes when I try to think of all the permutations.

Eh, they probably just got their one bad loss out of the way early. That loss sucked all my good hockey karma away as it's appearing as though I will be taking up residence again at the *HT. *sigh*

So, these two kids come into my row about half way thru the first and look at the guy on my left to say he's in their seats. He's like, "sit anywhere, I have seats 7 and 8." I was like "no you don't, 7 and 8 are mine." He says, no, they're mi e. I had to inform him that not only have these been my seats since the building opened, my name is ENGRAVED on the arm rests. He gives me a smirk and pulls out his tickets as if to prove me wrong and I look and tell him "great, yeah this is row Q, that says row O" Moran.
