Big hockey day today. Realizing I must be either getting old or a bit jaded. Game is less than a half hour away and I am listening on the radio. Used to love going to the Mack. Now wouldn't waste my time. You have to walk a half mile (or more) across campus to get to the rink, through all sorts of crud and then they have assigned seating which for visitors is sucky. An abomination! I liked it when it was old school, we parked right outside the rink door and sat 5 rows behind the bench so I could roll my eyes at Mr les when something stupid happened.

I am getting old. That and I am still manic from the prednisone, have thousands of things to do and it is on TV.

I had to read this about three times to realize you meant it was only a half hour to get there, not that the game was in a half hour. Heh. I like going to Merrimack because there's a Friendly's near by. Mmmmm, Fribbles.

For us its Fudds. The drinking will start at noon... sadly I will be here in our nation's capital.

There are Friendly's near DC, but none any more within the Beltway. The one near Landmark appears to have closed.

Minus the game last night, it was a great night. Saw some really good friends that Mr. wore Black and myself have not seen in a few years.

Got to the hotel. Finally. Been traveling forever it seems. Luckily customs was a breeze and the hotel is right next to the airport. The parts of Mumbai I've seen so far are on completely different ends of the spectrum. The Hyatt Regency is gorgeous, on of the nicest hotels I've stayed at
But it has a huge security fence and barriers around it and on the other side of those barriers is complete chaos and dirty as all hell. Should be an interesting trip. Oh, I got a 5 course meal in business class. Death to economy fares!!!!

Alright, i have to be up in 5 hours. Sleep time.
