Good news: Son got into the London study abroad program at CSB-SJU
Yeah, its a pretty gutless move on his part. I don't really want to do it, but I'm beginning to think that I should start sitting in on some of their lawyer meetings just so I don't have to put up with them both coming up to me crying about how this one did this, this and that there and how its all so unfair to them, and then we're all stuck here in this toxic mess. Even if it means the farm gets sold, something needs to happen to improve the conditions here.Been there, done that. Not nice. Makes you want to tell both parents to grow up and behave like adults. Unfortunately adults have the capacity and the tools to be nastier. I hope your Mum has a lawyer! (My dad did something similar and it didn't turn out well for him) When I look back at what my parents acted like I can't believe the crud they pulled.
Glad you are home. Hope Dad is doing as good as he canGood morning Lodge.
Scrambled eggs with cheese, onions, green peppers and bacon mixed in for breakfast. Mixed fruit and toast on the side.
Finally home. I am trying to re charge. I am mentally and physically drained.
Don't do it. WHen they come crying to you tell them they are the grown ups and they need to leave you out of it. They have no business getting you in the middle. Use emotional blackmail as needed. (Why would you try to get me involved in this? You guys are messed up, I don't want to be messed upt too) If you get in it then it perpetuates things. If you go you will end up feeling like one side is right and in the end it takes 2 to tango. Usually you have the 'Joan of Arc' who should be standing up for themself and the 'Perpetrator' who should know better but JoA lets them do stuff, whines but doesn't make it have a consequence. Lock yourself in your bedroom.Yeah, its a pretty gutless move on his part. Ya, I agree with Les. I have been (mostly) left out of my parent's mess from 2 years ago, but my Mom still occasionally feels the need to tell me about the latest nasty thing she said to himAlmost every time I call her, I get to hear the latest thing. She wonders why I don't call much while at work. It definitely sucks, hang in there best you can.
Speaking of, I get to pick up my Dad and his girl on the side tomorrow from the airport, come back here to show him my place, then drop them off for their cruise. Can't wait for it to be super awkward and everything!
Early afternoon seat at the HHT. Alma Mater has made it to the ACHA D3 National Tournament in Missouri next month I think.
While in the office I submitted some expense reports and noticed a $200+ charge from Walmart.com. I called the credit card company and they said the charge happened at 1am on February 9th. When I was asleep. During the blizzard. They also noticed another charge that was declined. Hmmm. They've cancelled the card and will be sending me a new one. Not sure what happened or how.
That was my corporate card. I should probably check my personal card, too.
is your dad's girl hot?![]()
