We've easily got 2 feet... maybe more. The drifting is incredible. I went out at 10:00 to attempt to plow. Got my truck stuck plowing down the driveway in a drift easily 4-5 feet deep. She's beached there and I have no idea what I'm going to do come morning. The drift at the back gate was almost to the top of the fence (42"). I literally just stepped over it and trudged out to the driveway. And for the first time in my life I witnessed first-hand what a full white-out is like. I was within 25-30 feet of the house and could NOT see it through the blowing snow.Ain't she snowin' out, wow, I'd hate to be driving right now, flood lights on in my backyard and you can't see diddly

Needless to say, with my COPD/emphysema I'm not able to deal with the cold air and run out of breath quite easily. That happened while trying to dig out the truck. Barely made it back to the house and my wife was about ready to kill me (but refrained because I couldn't breathe). The rest of the weekend ought to be interesting...
HHT!!!!!!
Sorry biddy!
Ps, RPI, keep winning. Need you guys as a TUC.
Well, best of luck the rest of the way. We'll be cheering for you.I hope we oblige, but we beat SLU yesterday in Canton and now face Clarkson in Potsdam. We have made that trip every year except one since 1951-52 and have swept it I think three times. (One year we went there on two separate trips because Harkness felt that CCT and SLU had too big an advantage playing only one game on that weekend, but it didn't work either. Now at least they also play Union.)
Mybe she thought you had done the job for her. We have it bad but not that bad. We've easily got 2 feet... maybe more. The drifting is incredible. I went out at 10:00 to attempt to plow. Friday was another tough day. I am exhausted.
No dog but same conditions. Have to upload the pics to FB.Not sure I can get a door open so I can let the dog out, not sure he will go if I do get the door open. All 3 doors have snow 18 inches up them
I'd like to know how they measure with the winds we were having, but it looks like all the surrounding towns here are reprting in the 24"-28" range. I have my radio scanner on and the city of New Haven has the National Guard running around with heavy equipment to clear roads and dig out emergency vehicles. In another town close by they used a bucket loader to get to the door of a house and carried the person back to EMS in the street. We have it bad but not that bad.
We plan to chuck lil out the window and let him dig toward us. He doesn't know of this devious plan pecause he is still sleeping.I'd like to know how they measure with the winds we were having, but it looks like all the surrounding towns here are reprting in the 24"-28" range. My plan is to have the wife help me dig out from the back door to the garage and then see what I can do with the snow blower. I think that will be an exercise in futility... It may be spring before we get out of the yard!![]()
Good Morning, Lodge!
Going up to St. Cloud to get taxes done.
Even though Armadillo and I have no tickets to tonight's game, we decided to make a Val's Rapid Serv run today because crackfries. Silly? Yes. However, carpe diem!
What time are you arriving at Val's, btw?
Don't know.
