I had headphones. Didn't stop her from talking to me.

Just got back from food shopping and stopped at the car wash. I had so much grime and salt all over it. And now my car is all shiny and clean!! I love that!

Good afternoon Lodge.

Just got back from taking the boys on a 10 mile or so ride on a dog sled. Fricken awesome time.

I have a friend that is into dog sleding as a hobby. We left about 11 am. Took a break around the five mile mark and built a fire and cooked lunch. The weather cooperated and the scenery was beautiful. The boys had a blast.

That sounds so cool!!

Last Christmas celebration ended about an hour ago. Whew. Half of them showed up with the serious boogie nose. It was good to see everyone but I wanted a mask. Part of me is relieved to finally be done. The other part of me quails at de-Christmasing the house.

Have to say, I was rather productive today. Two loads of laundry. Made meatballs - will have for lunch all week. Bought strawberries, cut and cleaned all of them, ready for lunches this week. Made plaki - a Greek dish with fish, potatoes, carrots in tomato sauce. Bought previously frozen haddock today so I had to cook it today. I had dinner tonight and enough left over for dinner one other night this week. Lunch tomorrow is made. I'm going to iron tonight.

Made a roast so that I've got dinner taken care of until Wednesday night. Going to fry burgers in a little bit so that I can say the same about lunch this week.

Chocolate chip cookies are going in the oven soon. 3/4 of a pound of gummi bears have been consumed since last night.

Busy day here, had to take the kid out of it's stall to clean it out. Later on here it laid down in a pee spot and it's blanket was all wet, so we had to switch it out. Wasn't happy about that idea at all. It's a fiesty little stinker.

Judging from my FB feed I'm one of the few who isn't watching Dallas....I mean....General Hospital....I mean.....Knots Landing.....I mean All My Children.....I mean.....Falcon Crest.....I mean.....Downton Abbey.

We watched Shooter. Girlfriend hadn't seen it, now she has. Pretty awesome movie.
