Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #159: Lodge's Attitude Toward Christmas/Holidays

Morning!

Today is the gf's birthday. Taking her to dinner. Her parents are in town to visit till tomorrow, so we will have cake with them afterward.

If there was ever an appropriate time for a "the cake is a lie" joke...

Good afternoon Lodge.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #159: Lodge's Attitude Toward Christmas/Holidays

Even though I am off today from real job, I am working on my side business. Just finished taking photos of my inventory and uploading to various sites.

On a lighter note: Happy New Year!

So, that's what the side business people are calling it these days. ;)

As if it couldn't get better for Minnesota sports fans, the basketball team just beat MSU by 13. This is a hell of a run for Minnesota sports this weekend.

Honestly, I was happy with just about everything except the final score in that game. The Gophers played well above expectations and they looked very good.

HNY to all y'all.

Waiting for a call from bbdl, so I can meet him/MNS/soh/whoever else up at his place. May stay in, may go to the local bar (which has no cover, unlike down in the city/suburbs).

I may or may not saunter up that way later. I'm not quite sure what I want to do yet.

I've got a bottle of Riesling and some cheese... I'm all set to ring in the new year! If I have some time later tonight, I might make sugar cookies, too.

I don't know what you're talking about...UMD was shut out by a 2 win Maine team and lost by four goals to Ferris State the next night. ;)
Did MEg survive too? :)
Yep. :)
Yeah, but were they wearing different clothes?
Don't know. One guy was still missing his legs from the knee down.
