After it was announced last week that Jason Aldean was playing at Fenway Park, one of my country music loving friends posted on Facebook asking me if I had any way to get tickets. She was like "ZOMG!!! This will be amazing I really want to go!' I told her yes, but that I was going to use them. As a season ticket holder, my father gets to order tickets in a pre-sale. She followed up with "Yeah, but is there anyway you can help in addition to that?" Jeez. So, I waited till I saw my father over the weekend to see if he got the letter with the ordering information. For previous concerts, he was only allowed to get as many tickets as he had Red Sox tickets. For Bruce Springsteen, I was able to get four. Same deal with this concert. I wanted to see who else in my family wanted to go before I let her know I could get her a couple. So, I tell her that but smartly ask "Is price going to be an issue?" because I got screwed on one of the Bruce tickets and didn't want to front money if I wasn't going to get it back. I have no idea how much the tickets are but I usually go best available and order. Naturally, she realizes they'll probably be too expensive so she now doesn't want them.
