Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #157: Hockey Watching Habits

Good Morning Lodge.

What is this stuff falling from the sky here? It's like water from the clouds. How does that happen? Made the drive in kind of slow.

Ugh... Stress. I'm being heavily pursued by a recruiter for a job in Philadelphia. I don't want to start over in a new city and I don't know much about Philly. I'm on an incredibly insane bit of research right now, of particularly immense value. It would pay very well but I don't want to give up the research because of the application potential and I don't want to have to start over w friends and the rest.

Howdy Lodge. thanks again for the birthday wishes. Went out to dinner wih friends from work last night. We were supposed to do a post dinner beverage or two with hottie bartender but everyone pooped out on me so I went home. Thank God I went last Thursday. :)

Busy doings here at work. It's either feast or famine with me it seems.

I thought you were unhappy with your current position due to bureaucracy, pay, and recognition issues? I'd think being recruited for a higher paying job is exactly what you would want.

Sure being a in a new city is an adjustment, but sometimes its necessary.

Good afternoon Lodge.

Checking in from cityslickerville.

Pet peeve of mine....When you send something to color laser printer that is a huge job, pay attention and don't go do other things while you think it's printing because invariably, the printer will run out of paper forcing a logjam of print jobs behind it and make me unable to present a brochure to one client before my meeting with another.

I'm unhappy with work because of it... If I had that in a good place then the rest will all into place. It's just having to start over socially. I don't want to do it.

Holy schnitt, no posts in teh Lodge for SEVEN HOURS now. I thought I felt a disturbance in the force.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #157: Hockey Watching Habits

So, I almost hit a deer. In my parking lot. *er came out of nowhere, saw me and stopped suddenly, then took off with her two friends (actually, sounds like a night at the bar, too!).

That's the second time in two years I've seen deer around my place. I chose to live in the city to avoid crap like that!

So, you're only hitting on the white tail?
