Went for my usual Thursday drink tonight. My friend that joined me didn't get there till after 6pm so I got to chat with hottie bartender for a bit. He says "Isn't your birthday coming up?" I said "Yes, it's Monday. My friends are taking me out to dinner, we were planning to stop by here for a post dinner beverage, are you working on Monday?" He said yes. After dinner, he asked if we were getting dessert, we said no, but I asked for coffee and two minutes later, he brings out a dessert with a Happy Birthday chocolate bar and a candle. Aw, sweet! So we had to go - my friend had to catch a cab so I asked for the check and he said "You're all set. Happy Birthday!" That was unexpected. :)

Good Morning, Lodge!

Half day at work today. I get to make pumpkin cookies and muffins this afternoon for Mr. wore Black's family get together tomorrow. The probability that his family attempts to throw me into the bonfire is really high due to the fact they think that I am a witch. All because I am from Wisconsin....ba$tard$.

But the happy news is that you're not made of wood, so you won't burn. That means you'll prove to them that you're not a witch.

Good morning Lodge and Happy Friday!!Not raining here yet but it will be soon. No hockey tonight, which is good because I have a **** ton of tv to catch up on.
