Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #157: Hockey Watching Habits

Good Morning, Lodge! :)

*HT for me. Giving up two goal leads in the 3rd period is never good.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #157: Hockey Watching Habits

*HT here too. Missed the last period of the game because I fell asleep- The mojo left them after I went to dreamland. Love hockey season but I forgot how irritating it is to have people running for the lifeboats and digging the grave so quickly. Jeese. We are 2 games in and they are hating on the coach already.:rolleyes: I'm not much better. Every yr I am stupid enough to make the foray into DI Boardland and expect people to be more sane.

But isn't it nice when fans of other teams feel it's their duty to tell you what's wrong with your team? They're such a help. And they know more about your team than your fans do apparently.

Happy Birthday goldy!!!

Good Morning, Lodge!

Cookies and muffins are made and packed. Minus the fact that I smoked my garbage disposal (don't ask). Going to St. Cloud today to see Mr. wore Black's family. They still have burning restrictions up there so the maximum size of a fire is a camp size.

Mornin' all! En route to Iowa City. Should be tailgating shortly.

HHT for me, hope the Mavs play a complete game tomorrow. Was impressed with RPI. Did a great job creating 2on1's all over the ice.

All you rodent fans, one of my very good friends, and a highly talented high school QB is going to start his career in Canp Randall today. Couldn't be more excited or happy for him. I disagree with Kill's decision to burn the redshirt, but he knows the team better than we do. It'll be a tough task to go into the stadium he had season tickets at until 5th grade.(his dad was a FB for the Badgers)

I've heard of smoking a bowl, but smoking a garbage dispenser is new on me.

Also, if you're the one who has to replace it (I don't know if you're renters or owners), I've found that my Waste King is infinitely better than those Badger series disposals that seem to dominate the market, and it's designed to slip in without reworking the plumbing.

I didn't have to replace it. Fortunately, when it happend, I called the rental office and someone came over right away. It needed to be reset and remove the item that caused the disposal to short. According to Mr. wore Black when he found out, "only you and your mom can burn water." :o

Afternoon Lodge. Thanks for the birthday wishes.

It didn't short then. You overheated it and tripped the thermal overload. A little button on the bottom of the motor, just click it back in.

We used to get melons - honeydew and cantaloup - and cut them up then stuff the rinds down the disposer. You can overheat them that way if the chunks are too big and you don't run enough water through them.

Mavsy - your friend looked really good on his second series. I haven't gotten back to watch it again since.

Sometimes one also has to insert a special hex wrench under the disposal to free the disposal if it sticks.

Howdy kids. Just a gorgeous day here today. It's so warm I have my AC on. Waiting for my friends to pick me up, heading up to UNH for BU's game. Planning to stop at Friendly's on the way up for early dinner and a Fribble(R). I love Fribbles.
