Something is wrong. I find myself missing the most recent Michigan troll poster. Why isn't he in the State thread predicting a sweep and talking down to Sparty? Worse yet, why has no one posted a comeback or neg repped me for my "little brother" comment?

So a lawyer for my company has a very similar phone number to mine. The difference is that my number has a "52" in it while hers has a "25". I can't tell you how many times lawyers call her and insist that they've dialed the right number. I tell them that the number they called has been mine for over 6 years now and offer to find give them the correct number. They tell me no, that they dialed the right number and that the phone system screwed up or that the lawyer they're trying to reach has her number wrong in our employee directory. I just looked up the lawyer's number in our employee directory. It's listed with the "25". I've placed hundreds - if not thousands - of phone calls in my time at this position. You know what's never screwed up? The phone system. Why can't these people just own up to their mistakes? Freaking lawyers.

Except when the bubbles get stuck in the straw. Then you give it some oomph, and ***GAAACK!!!*** suddenly it comets down your throat and you're asphyxiating right there in front of the natives. Amateur!

Well, I totally blew that audition, IMO. The good news is that he didn't see it that way and wants to re-audition me in two months.

Next time tell them they must have come down with a case of temporary dyslexia and they should see a doctor.

Howdy Lodge. Happy Friday. Got a last minute dentist appointment this morning. Had my regular cleaning scheduled for 10/25 that I had to cancel due to a big announcement event we were planing. When I got back from my trip to Indy, the big event had turned to a much more low key thing. I couldn't get that appointment back but asked if there were any cancellations to please let me know. Got a call yesterday at 3:00 for an 8:45 this morning. Sweet! I really didn't want to wait till my late February appointment as the tooth I had the root canal on last year has been hurting me for some time now. They couldn't see anything on an Xray, the only way to try and figure out would be to go back into the tooth.

Now, when I had the root canal I had to sign something saying that insurance would not cover a second root canal on the same tooth. I'm thinking they did something wrong during the root canal and I shouldn't have to pay for it at all. Regardless, I'm waiting till after the holidays before I make the decision, unless I wind up in excrutiating pain.

Off to Merrimack tonight. And Friendlys for a pre-game Fribble!!

Hey Mookie! There are some weird Asians around here. I stopped off at the fish wharf for lunch today on the way home form a short bike ride. While wating for my order to be cooked, a woman, probably a tourist who apparently spoke no English, motioned that she would like her friend to take a picture of me with her and my bike. Weird!
