Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #157: Hockey Watching Habits

Good Morning Lodge.

So I found out about this thing called "unpoliticme" that blocks any political posts on Facebook or Twitter. Only problem is it only works on Google Chrome. I have to remember to not look at FB or Twitter on my phone for the next 10 days. As if I don't get enough political crap on the TV, I have relatives that insist on posting it on FB.
Unfortunately, I can't avoid all the signs in my neighborhood. I came home last night to find my neighbor had put signs up just on his side of the property line, facing toward my house. I know whose vote I will be canceling out!

Social Fixer. Best Facebook add-on ever. It has a feature that allows you to filter posts if they contain specific words.

I've got mine set to block pretty much every political name, word, issue, and slur I could think of. My newsfeed is usually about three items long.

I think we're gonna try to Rick Roll the referees tonight.

I want to know what happens if I write return to sender on all the political ads and drop them back in the mailbox. Really thinking of doing this. :D

Sandy might blow him the last 15 miles.
:D very nice

Odd week at work. Busy busy busy then pretty dead today. Plus, the inventory auditor was in the main building today (offsite tomorrow). If we pass inventory accuracy (IIRC it has to be perfect on an x amount of randomly chosen items), then we don't have to count all the items in our building. And I do mean ALL. We've been perfect for the last 4-5 years, so hope that streak stays alive.

Currently awaiting a response from bbdl on whether or not we are heading out tonight (in costume, despite the official Halloween thing being tomorrow night). Today's NHL announcement actually helped my costume: Brodeur jersey with a homeless sign hanging on my neck. Front says "Will stop pucks 4 food" and back says "Goalie 4 hire/gardien de but pour la location" :D

I haven't even shaved since last Wed, so I have a nice neck beard going to add to the look. :)

*HT.
Lil still sounds awful. Conference race tomorrow :(

Coughed so much today I feel like I did an ab work out. (This may be a positive.)

HHT for me! And one of the ~75 former Terriers in attendance to celebrate Coach's 40th season as head coach? You guessed it - Freddy Meyer. No, really.
