Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #156: The Ultimate Showdown

Any dream where I wake up and don't laugh and think to myself, "****, I really, really need to lay off the acid" is a terrible disappointment. I've had some pretty epic dreams lately.

Yep. All the standards (falling, leaping, etc) plus some weird arse ones......none involving a morphing poster that choose a deer, though.....

Afternoon, Lodge. Wonderful day in the 651.

DANG but it was nice in the 651 today.

If you are so inclined please send postive thoughts our way.

On their way, my friend.

crazy f^ck1ng wacked-out insane psycho blurbbled cerebral cortex vomit dance

mookie hasn't figured out what that all means.

I feel like I just watched "Wild At Heart" again.

I've never had the falling dream or the leaping one. But lately I've had a few where I go on a Taken-esque rampage. It was pretty epic. I woke up in the middle of a high speed car chase through the cities. I was p*ssed. On the weekends I would be able to go back to sleep and pick up where I left off being a lucid dream. NOT LURID YOU SICKOS. But it was on Monday and I can't just go back to sleep.

That sounds kinda cool. I kinda want that dream. The falling one sucks.

I can't remember the last truly unpleasant dream I had. I do remember waking up around 4 AM about a month ago and being in a near state of panic. That was not a good situation. But I don't remember the details.

I think the worst I had was about 5 years ago. Woke up, thought I saw someone in my room. Started swinging and swearing. Loudly. Before you ask, I was stone sober. Scared the sh* outta me. I found out later that my buddy (who had rented the place before I did) believed a ghost/spirit frequented the place. Yeah, thanks.

Yeah, that gets a bit freaky there. Place where I used work at, a lot of the time I was pretty much there by myself, and sometimes I would just get that feeling that I was being watched there. Never saw nothing, but you know, had that feeling.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #156: The Ultimate Showdown

The single worst dream/night terror I had was back at my parents place the summer of my freshman year in college. I fell asleep on the couch in the basement and woke up just at the crack of dawn. Or at least I thought I did. Because I was completely paralyzed except for my eyes. I looked around the room and then saw this figure in a tattered black robe with a hood on. Couldn't see the face. It kept moving closer and closer. Step by step. I'm trying to scream at this point but I just can't move anything. I'm in a full on "oh my God, I'm going to die" moment here just going absolutely crazy. Still completely unable to move, the thing stops right next to the couch, and then I finally blink and it's gone. I think I actually woke up when I "blinked".

Good morning to tLodge! ;)

Any dream about USCHOers not involving the Super Hotts would have to be classified as a nightmare... no?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #156: The Ultimate Showdown

I saw that this morning on my own visitors page. I just deleted it, thought about reporting it, but then realized that wouldn't do any good with the way the admin has been around here the last couple...years.
That sounds like a good idea. The problem is that I can't find the my visitors page now despite having tried every link that I can get to from my home page.

Neither can I. The FAQ doesn't explain it, either. One thing I did see, though, is one of the communi- er sociali- er people that don't agree with Old Pio, Bob Gray, or myself caused me to need a refill.

Good Morning Lodge.

All the best to lil g! hope it all works out for the best!

Morning.

All I want for my birthday is a Gopher sweep of Michigan Tech!

Even if birthday wishes only cover 1 night, that's OK. They can win on Friday for my birthday and on Saturday for Goldy's. :D

If you were born at the time the first game is happening, it'd cover both nights. :D
